After learning online that Courtyard by Marriott offers a highly-rated European buffet, I decided to try it out. I made a reservation online for Saturday lunch, which wasn't difficult to book; even reserving the day before (Friday) was fine. The lunch price is NT$1,480 + 10% service charge, but through KLOOK, it's only NT$1,300 per person, with no service charge. You can enter at 11:30 AM and dine until 2:00 PM. Dining Experience: * The restaurant is located on the first floor of the hotel, accessible directly from the side entrance on Jianguo North Road. * The dining environment is clean, with soft lighting and comfortable air conditioning, making it quite pleasant. * The cold seafood platter offers Argentine red shrimp, raw scallops, abalone, bread crab, snow crab, and sashimi (three types of fish). Roasted snow crab legs are limited to one serving per person. * Due to the restaurant's "Hong Kong Glamour" event, there are additional Cantonese dishes available, such as shrimp dumplings, lava buns, steamed dumplings, stir-fried pork ho fun, and turnip cake. * Other unlimited options include roasted beef, Peking duck, and freshly prepared beef soup. * Beverages primarily feature Budweiser and Heineken beer; cocktails are not available, and red and white wines require an additional charge. * The cold seafood platter was fresh, but I noticed that restocking after items ran out took a bit too long, which needs improvement. * Among the cooked dishes, the cured meat and cabbage was overly salty, and the Cantonese dim sum lacked sufficient heat, resulting in a noticeable difference in texture. Other items were generally as expected. Overall, considering the variety of dishes, taste, environment, and service in relation to the price, I personally found it acceptable. However, the speed of restocking dishes needs to be improved. Although the number of diners isn't as overwhelming as in some top-tier all-you-can-eat restaurants, having to notify staff and wait for items to be refilled can create a negative impression, making guests feel as if the restaurant is reluctant to provide enough food.
We went there for lunch after visiting a nearby temple. they offered a wide variety of dishes, mainly seafood and desserts, which were especially enjoyable in the humid weather. the crabs were a bit disappointing, but we loved the sashimi selections and abalone, which disappeared quickly-so make sure to get them as soon as you get in. The staff were attentive in clearing plates, giving us more space to enjoy the food and get more dishes. My mom particularly loved the Portuguese egg tarts. They also offered a good range of beverages from juices and tea to soda and beer. Overall, it was a great experience that satisfied our sashimi and dessert cravings in a hot weather
Last year, I ate the Antarctic Snow Crab at this restaurant. I was very satisfied. Today, I was very happy to eat the delicious Matsuba Crab and Angel Red Shrimp. They were fresh and sweet. It is worth coming back to taste them next time.
Convenient location, friendly service staff, afternoon tea with sashimi, crab, angel red shrimp, spring popsicles, although the price has increased, it is worth it
Crab, sashimi, steak, angel red shrimp, lettuce salad, beer, ice cream, fruit, drinks are provided, and transportation is convenient.
Good service, and they are diligent in collecting plates after use. Snow crab thought it was okay. White shrimp is more delicious. The fried shrimp is good, the steamed fish rolls are delicious, the fried oysters are best when they are freshly fried, and the steak is also OK. Not much dessert. But the chocolate cake was delicious. After eating, I felt that the afternoon tea was worth the money and I will come here again next time.
Purchasing e-vouchers on Klook is super convenient! Simply show the barcode on your phone when the server comes to settle the bill, and you're good to go! The restaurant offers a wide variety of food, so just choose what you like!
The juice is fresh enough and not fake seasoned water, the sashimi is fresh and continuously supplied, the fish stewed in butter is very tender, the lamb shins braised in beer are fragrant and tough, the fire-roasted seafood barrel is excellent, and the Tennessee whiskey charcoal grilled chicken is delicious and tender.
It's convenient to have free parking when dining. The soups are very delicious, and the mutton and chicken almost melt in your mouth. The dining environment is comfortable, empty plates are collected quickly, and dishes are replenished quickly.
We used a meal voucher for dinner on Father's Day, August 8th, which was a great deal. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, and the atmosphere was comfortable and elegant. It was even cheaper than buying tickets at the door.
