- Children aged 0-2 must be accompanied by a paying adult
- Children aged 0-2 can enter free of charge
- Individuals with readily identifiable disabilities or those who possess a disability certificate, along with their guardian or one necessary companion, may enter the Forest Recreation Area free of charge.
- Residents registered within the amusement park are admitted free of charge upon presentation of their National Identification Card.
- Half-price tickets are available for military and police personnel with valid ID, children ages 7-12, and Taichung City residents.
- Those eligible for half-price or concession tickets must present valid photo identification for ticket purchase at the venue.
Additional information
- Regardless of the number of groups, you will only receive one voucher (one QR code) after successful booking. This QR code can be redeemed multiple times. Please use the same QR code for entry.
- Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue
- Pets are not allowed inside the venue, with the exception of service animals with valid identification
- Smoking and drinking is not allowed. You will immediately be asked to leave if caught by a staff member

How to get there
- By bus: From the west exit (Zhongzheng Road) of TRA Fengyuan Station, walk for about 5 minutes to take Fengyuan Bus numbers 90, 206, or 207 to Dongshi Station. Then, transfer to bus number 252 (operates only on Saturdays and Sundays) to the Dasyueshan National Forest Recreation Area.
- By car: Take National Highway No. 3 or National Highway No. 1 and transfer to National Highway No. 4 (towards Dong勢) → Exit at the Fengyuan end and turn left onto Tai 3 Line (Fengshi Road towards Dong勢) → After crossing the Dong勢 Bridge, turn right onto Tai 8 Line (Zhongzheng Road towards Guguan) → Continue straight on Zhongzheng Road for about 2 kilometers. At the traffic light, turn left (the right side of the turn is a FamilyMart, and the front left is Shuangqi Workstation) → Go straight on Dongkeng Road (Dasyueshan Forest Road) → Dasyueshan National Forest Recreation Area is about one hour and thirty minutes away.

Today I went to Daxue Mountain to enjoy free air conditioning. The temperature on the mountain was very cool (16 degrees). It rained for a while today. I thought it would be over for today. But unexpectedly, there was a great view in the evening. The sunset was right on time, and there was also a rainbow after the rain. I met Di Zhi and Shan Qiang on their patrol. I was full of beautiful scenery today. The Daxue Mountain Forest Recreation Area has a different feeling every time. The sea of clouds season is about to begin. It is worth a visit.

Come to the Daxueshan Forest Recreation Area in summer, a summer resort. The temperature is 16-20 degrees. The natural air-conditioning is environmentally friendly and comfortable. However, it is easy to rain in the afternoon in summer. To see the beautiful scenery, you have to go in the morning. The ecology is rich. During this trip, I met the long-maned goat and the national treasure emperor. Childish.

Buying an electronic ticket is convenient and fast, and there is no parking fee. I was very lucky to see the Taiwanese Blue-bellied Pheasant. The color of the Golden-winged Pheasant is very beautiful. The air on the mountain is good and the scenery is beautiful. It is worth recommending.

Returning to the mountains and forests 🥰It’s been a long time since I’ve been here😍. A great place to escape the heat in the summer is the Snowy Mountains. It’s full of phytoncides and protected animals. You can see various birds👍. You can buy tickets with Klook for free. Parking☺️

This is my first visit to the Daxueshan Forest Recreation Area in 50 years. Apart from the fact that I feel that some parts of the mountain road are narrow and I need to pay attention to driving safety, the overall experience is very good. The air is really fresh, the natural ecology is well protected, and you can see many rare and exotic animals, such as muntjacs, which are not afraid of people and can be viewed up close. There are also sacred trees, which are spectacular.

Buy and use immediately. Scan the code to enter the park and get free parking, which is convenient and cost-effective. The park is vast and full of beautiful scenery. There are many well-maintained trails. We arranged a three-day, two-night trip and were very happy and satisfied.

The scenery is absolutely beautiful, with lots of wildlife, including goats that are friendly with people, and Swinhoe's pheasants. There are so many trails that you really need to stay overnight to fully enjoy the changing scenery from dawn to dusk and the abundance of phytoncides. The visitor center has excellent introductory videos and a humorous guide.

- Situated at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, the climate here is cool. Only the Xiaoshenmu Trail and Mumadao area retain the original cypress giant tree forest, which is one of the most beautiful sceneries in the recreation area.
- Located in the deepest part of the recreation area, the 50-meter-high, over 1,400-year-old Divine Tree used to be the 11th largest giant tree in Taiwan.
- Wildlife is Dasyueshan's greatest treasure: Formosan Reeves' muntjac, Formosan serows, and white-faced flying squirrels enliven the night, while during the day, Mikado pheasants, Swinhoe's pheasants, and Yuhina brunneiceps hop and frolic.
