Firefly Watching in Puerto Princesa

The driver was polite and on time. the tour guide and the boat crew were so hospitable. The food was delicious and definitely a must try. The tour itself was enchanting. Being able to see the firefles in their natural habitat was therapeutic.

From Alex the driver to Paul the guide and the cook, everything was very pleasant and well organised (rare in PH). The guide was very knowledgeable about fireflies and stargazing which was perfect with such a clear sky. The trip on the little boat on the river in the dark was amazing. Many fireflies to spot and probably the best travel agency for nature trips (Wild Experience). Food was also very satisfying. A must!

It is a very worthwhile journey. In addition to the fireflies in the trees, you can see the sky full of stars in the dark river. The fireflies on the treetops are connected to the stars in the sky. I really can’t tell which ones are fireflies and which ones are. Stars! The buffet on the boat is also very rich. Eating a sumptuous dinner on the boat with the cool sea breeze is really a very different experience!

My hubby and I had fun, it was such a wonderful experience with the firefly watching. The boat where we had our dinner and orientation was very spacious. Food was fresh and fantastic. The guide and captain for the firefly watching were very accommodating and was very knowledgable, both really made sure that everyone of us were comfortable and safe. i highly recommend to do firefly watching.

I came in early February. I was notified of the pick-up time before the trip. The journey takes about 40 to 60 minutes. There will be a brief briefing after arrival. It is a quiet and beautiful late-night trip. It is very peaceful on the river boat and there is no whole thing. Hundreds of trees on the road are full of fireflies. After all, there are not that many fruit trees. There are dozens and hundreds of trees in one tree about ten meters away. They are quite beautiful, a bit like Christmas trees. But what impressed me even more is that I remember to see it on the day before I came. Whether the weather is cloudless or not, the boat will slide into the depths without lights. There will be fireflies next to it, and the sky will be filled with stars. It is so beautiful❤️. The boatman will also catch a firefly for you, which is very cool, like holding a little hope in his hand.

Great tour, I really liked that they did not jam everyone together in big group, only 12 people,leaving extra room. The guide was very entertaining providing lots of information through tour. The food was very good, overall great experience!

We were picked up on time from our hotel and had some time to walk around PPS Boardwalk before the tour began. We left at twilight and it was a nice boat. The food served was all delicious and it was enough for everyone. The firefly tour itself was super worth it. The boat ride to the mangrove was peaceful and the air was so fresh. Fireflies were luckily there and even went near the boat. You can also stargaze during the boatride. A memorable experience!

We had a great time. There were no issues with the hotel pickup and drop off. I like how we're able to stroll along the bay while waiting, because that's where the boat is. The experience itself was also relaxing (not to mention, the food was delicious!). The listing photos aren't accurate, though. I think they should update it so the right expectations are set. Other than that, it's all good.
