Mari Mari Cultural Village & Klias River Day Tour

It was good! Our guide in Mari Mari Village and Fireflies River Tour was amazing. it's so informative to see and know the different tribes in Sabah. The driver was also very thoughtful and made sure we arrived safely.

Our private van made it easy to visit all of Kota Kinabalu's top activities. In the morning, our driver Adi came to pick us up at the hotel, which made it very easy. At Mari Mari Cultural Village, I was able to learn about the culture of Borneo and it was a great learning experience. Also, on the river cruise on the Kurias side, the guide taught us about animals and nature, so I think it was much more enjoyable than going on your own. Without a guide, I wouldn't have been able to figure out how to set up my camera to take beautiful pictures of fireflies! This is a recommended tour!

Very fun and interesting trip! Our driver Adi and tour guide Jumaliah was very nice and helpful. Jumaliah was very informative. She explained and shared with us photos and details during the trip for the Kilas River. Our ither tour guide for the Mari Mari Cultural Village was Zul, one of the best and most engaging guides we ever had. He was very knowledgeble and could answer all the questions we had on the tribes and cultural village!

Wonderful and educational activities at both venues. Wishing they didn’t rush the tour at the cultural village and allow us to experience being in the tribal houses longer. Bring mosquito repellant for the river cruises activity. Rent the binoculars to see the proboscis monkeys better.

Mari Mari cultural Village is a great place to go to experience the lives of the different tribes in sabah. we get to go into different long houses and taste wine, honey and kueh made by them. while on Klias river cruise, we saw proboscis monkey, long tail monkey and even a crocodile! After a scrumptious local dinner, we saw trees filled with fire flies. the drive to klias river cruise took about 2hrs but it was a worthy trip if you are into wildlife.

Great experience with Klook, the weather wasn't co-operating but both activities are a must-see. The Mari-Mari village is highly educative and the cruise tour is relaxing! Both lunch and dinner were great!

First morning, the driver is come on time and good smiling waiting us . The village culture is good visit place if you never visit before , should try and go . Evening time , the activities is go to see monkey and firefly. Firefly it look beautiful , if you have good camera , only can take the clear photo to see firefly . 😂😂😂. Food also very nice , love it so much . Hope to visit again Sabah . Thanks you

Mari Mari Culture Village tour was great, got to experience their local tribe culture. Ride to Klias river was a bit long to & fro just for the monkeys and fireflies river cruise & it really had to depend on the weather as well, good thing the rain stopped when we took the boat ride. Insect repellent is a must at Klias river ride. Guides at both tours were nice & friendly too. Transport car was awesome - car was new, aircon worked great, driver was professional and made the ride comfortable for the long journey.

The tour guide is nice and polite. We enjoyed our trip so much. Mari mari cultural is very informative and we managed to see a lot of proboscis monkey and fireflies on the river cruise. Highly recommended and they will also text you in advance for the trip itinerary :)
