What to expect

Discover Thai culture and history stories at two inspiring Bangkok attractions with an individual ticket or on one combination ticket. At Ancient City, you'll feel as if you've walked through all of Thailand in a day. The 'city,' one of the largest outdoor museums in the world, is essentially a scaled-down version of the country, with many replicas and reconstructions of Thailand's historically significant structures. See temples, palaces, and shrines, and feel transported back in time as you make your way around the grounds. A colossal, three-headed elephant dominates the structure of The Erawan Museum. The attraction houses various collections owned by museum owner Khun Lek Viriyapant, offering a look into local heritage, customs, and craftsmanship. Both inside and out, it's a fascinating space and well worth a visit.

Review for: Ancient City + Erawan Museum + private van (4-9 persons)

Everything went smoothly and the driver was accomodating to our requests. We had seniors and he made sure everyone was comfortable. The claiming of tickets was easy enough. You can also pay an extra if you wanna bring the vehicle into the ancient city, muang boran.

It was a pleasant experience with great views and impressive architecture. However, the weather was extremely hot. Despite this, it’s definitely worth visiting. On a negative note, I had a bad experience at the floating market. One restaurant in particular was not good. The food was not good, the rice was wet, and they tried to overcharge us. Fortunately, I checked the receipt before paying.

What a fantastic day we had at the Ancient city. We hired a golf buggy and really loved going around all the different buildings and the beautiful gardens. We ended up spending so much time here that we were too tired to go to the Erawan museum so could have saved a little by only buying a single ticket.

The Buffet at Anciet City was one of the best package deal we got in Klook. if you in to Chinese food, it will not disappoint you. if you want to save and avoid golf cart rental at the Ancient City,it is doable but recommended to be early and you are into cardio. To enjoy it more and shelter from the sun, just golf cart. The Erawan Museum is a bit challenging to get there without a car. Tale the BTS and then either walk or get a grab.

What a great way to get out of the DT Bangkok area and see some beautiful art. The ancient city golf cart is a must rent! just make sure you get one with a full charge 😆…. was going to be a long walk back but a worker saved the day. Erewan is too spectacular to miss! this behemoth structure is incredible!

Our tour guide was so nice and very accomodating (sir Ken), really enjoyed both Ancient City and Erawan Museum. Would recommend renting a golf cart inside the Ancient City to truly enjoy the place (especially during hot season, its hard to walk in the heat).

This tour was a great experience and a wonderful way to understand Thai culture. Our guide, Lita, clearly explained the purpose of the tour. Since the Ancient City is a very large place, we were given enough time to explore and were guided on the must-visit landmarks. We were also able to watch the two shows included in the tour, which added to the experience. Overall, it was a good and enjoyable tour. However, the title of the tour was a bit misleading, as it mentioned the Erawan Museum, which was not included. Despite that, I am very happy with this experience and would still recommend it.
