our tour guide, named francis, was very energetic one. he was born in singapore and has been tourguiding for 20 years!!!! he guided us back to singapore’s history and how chinatown was the only natural attraction or place that wasn’t built by modern man, that is still standing today. The guided us with the mural paintings, pasalubong stores, and he let us experience eating at the hawker center. Thank you Klook, and thank you Sir Francis!!! 🫡
We are from Taiwan, and our tour guide is a humorous uncle 👴🏼 We met at Nanyang Coffee and started the trip with a brief introduction to the history of Singapore. In just three hours, we learned a lot about religion, culture and history. I think it is very worthwhile.
Good tour to have for an extra knowledge on history and facts of Chinatown and Singapore in general. Our tourguide, Joyce, was exceptional at giving us some explanations on our questions. We had breakfast on our meet up place in Nanyang Old Coffee before the tour starts, which I find convenient.
It was an insightful, entertaining and well-worth tour! Our tour guide Andros was very knowledgeable and was able to adapt the tour to our needs and to the heavy rain, and we didn't feel that we missed out at all. The pace is comfortable and it definitely makes you see Chinatown in a different light, and adds a lot more context and gives you a peak into the past and how things came to be today. A must for anyone inspired by stories :)
The content of the activity is interesting and informative to understand the historical outline of Singapore to the present day
I heard good things about the tour but I couldn't go for it so I'm just going to let everyone know what happens if you have Covid (it seems to be a klook policy as well, you'd need an mc regardless of what MOH says). Was down with Covid and wrote in 5 days before the tour to ask if I could defer my tour. I sent in my art test result because (mild symptoms) protocol 2 under MOH guidelines allows companies to accept that in lieu of an MC. The company still required an MC, I wasn't going to drag myself out to see a doctor just for a tour company to consider my request. They did come back to me and gave me an option to defer my tour to the 25th but I need to top up money to join another tour. Again, not going to do that. So moral of the story: if you fall sick, you'd probably need to forgo the tour.
This time, due to Klook's contact error, we placed an order at 14:00, but you informed the tour guide to come in the morning, which is a waste of time and energy for the tour guide! The tour guide, Ms. Zhuo, has a good understanding of the local area. Under her leadership, we got to know the Chinatown area of Singapore in a very practical way. There were very detailed explanations and answers to our questions throughout the whole process. It was a very trip. Happy journey! The only dissatisfaction is that the cost of the same type of itinerary in Singapore is too high, and the evaluation has been reduced from very satisfied to dissatisfied!
Thank you for choosing Klook. It is a pity that the shared airport transfer did not bring you a satisfactory walking tour experience. We understand your disappointment and have forwarded your comments to the supplier and related teams as a reference for future improvement. Hope we can bring you a pleasant experience next time. If you have any concerns, please let us know. Sincerely thank you for your understanding and patience. Kelu user experience optimization team
Booked a tour in early September. after paying before the appointment The tour guide contacted because the number of people in the group is too small So I want to cancel and refund a refund, but I've been waiting for 1 month and there is no sign of a refund yet.
