Ho Chi Minh City: Walking Street Food Tour with 12 Local Tastings

Wolffyy has been an amazing tour guide, not only he indulged us with food culture and stories, he walked us to the different atreets in district 3, 5 and 10. He shared interesting sites such us the monk who burned himself and sacrificed because of the war. I enjoyed the different food and the ban xeo, cambodian grilled meat and desserts that Vietnam has to offer. I would highly recommend to book and request for Wolfy, really well done. I love his enthusiasm and energy. He helped other people as well as he speaks great english skills!

this was an Amazing food tour. Ken made the trip so special from answering all my questions to most of all tailoring a food tour that suited my taste. I wanted something unusual, not the usual pho and bahn mi. we started with an egg coffee in this beautiful Parisian style cafe, then proceded for pork noodles with intestines, liver, tripe in the most delicious broth I have ever had. this was followed by a visit to the flower market and food street where I got to taste a savoury crepe, snails, durian ice cream and then ending up with broken rice and pork! I couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable way to spend an evening!

It was my parent’s first visit to Vietnam and I wanted to immerse them with the Vietnamese culture through a walking local street food tour. Tom and Kate were our guides and they had exceeded every expectations that we had and made my parents’ experience a memorable one! They made sure we got to taste a variety of delicious local food and we came out of the tour truly stuffed, satisfied and impressed! Also, we were very well looked after by both Tom and Kate, who made sure we were safe (from the crowded traffic) and comfortable during the entire tour. 10/10 for this tour and I highly recommend anyone who would like to experience the daily lives of the locals and try a variety of local dishes that you would’ve not known if not for the tour!

What an amazing experience! Highly recommended. Tom was our guide and he picked my daughter and I up from our apartment. After making sure he understands our food preferences- and limits :-), we were on our way in a GRAB to Quan 5. During the entire tour we were the only tourists eating in the restaurant or stall, in stark contrast to similar tours in KL and Hanoi. To me that speaks for itself. Tom goes above and beyond to make sure you have a safe and great experience. Anything you see and want to try while walking around he can explain and you can try. We had a great time and can not thank Tom enough for this introduction into the local food culture.

I had an amazing experience on the Saigon food tour with guides Ken and Son! The booking process was smooth, with confirmation provided within minutes. A day before the tour, Ken and Son reached out via WhatsApp to introduce themselves and share the pickup time and itinerary. They offered us the choice between motorbike and taxi, and we took their recommendation to ride motorbikes—a fantastic way to enjoy the tour. This was my first time on a motorbike, but I never felt unsafe. Ken and Son were careful drivers and made sure I was comfortable. On the day of the tour, they were prompt, friendly, and professional. They asked us questions to get to know us better and shared tidbits about their own experiences, which added a personal touch to the tour. The food spots they selected were excellent, giving us a taste of local cuisine and taking us to places we wouldn't have found on our own. It was a great opportunity to see how locals live in Ho Chi Minh City. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting an authentic culinary experience in Saigon. Cannot recommend this tour enough! Ken our guide was exceptional, extremely knowledgeable about the history of the places visited and the food and regions they originate. We were grateful to only have myself and my wife on the tour which more time to ask silly tourist questions that he answered happily every time with a smile. Tour was amazing and let us try the most delicious foods of Vietnam. Our tour guide Rain was excellent - he was responsible (helping us order all meals, bringing umbrellas in case of rain, taking photos, etc) and very knowledgeable about Vietnamese food and history. We especially enjoyed listening to him speak about Vietnamnese legends, myths and history - made the tour very enjoyable and engaging. If you come to Saigon and need the best food tasting of the locals don't look further. You have to book with Tom (a must I would say) Not only he was great and knowledgeable with the places but he took us to local food shops that were amazingly cooked by the locals. We tried everything from Bahn Mi to Bun Ca Sua. We were so full and kids were so tired (jetllaged) that we had to stop mid point, I mean imagine midpoint and we threw our flag and gave up. Next time when we are back, we will definately look for Tom not only for food but everything else. Once again thanks Tom for the wonderful food tasting experience and Hẹn gặp lại

I chose the night tour. Since I’m not very good at English, I often used a translation app. The guide was a very kind young man! He checked my food preferences, took me to stores and places that would have been difficult to visit alone, and I had a great time. The only regret is that I couldn’t finish the meal he recommended because I had eaten too much for lunch. Before joining this tour, it's better to keep your meals light.
