The ceremony is nice and in a small cozy place. Even though the tea master and the setup seems dramatic, she is a charming lady to talk to. She doesn’t speak English but her interpreter helped us. He is a young smart guy who is humble and is currently working with the lady. Highly recommended if you want to know more about Macha tea and Japanese tea ceremony.

It’s nice experience. Although they didn’t ask me what language I prefer to use in class before, and they had a Chinese student as translator automatically. It’s lucky that I know a bit Mandarin. I’m not sure those foreigners can understand or enjoy this class if they didn’t have a proper translator accordingly. Except this, everything is perfect!

A bit short and not much choice for the kimono. However, the Japanese teacher is nice and the translator is very good. Funny expérience!
