Milford Sound Tour with Boat Cruise & Lunch from Queenstown

My partner and I took the Coach-Cruise-Fly package and we are so grateful we have made the right decision. Very experienced coach guide told us a lot about places we passed by and animals we encountered. Cruise boat driver steering very close to shore to help us spot penguins and seals, and let us have some fun bathing under the waterfall. The flight back was very exciting as we were only meters above the peaks below. Milford Sound on sea and in air are completely different experiences. Highly recommend this tour.

Booked for 6:30 AM, and you need to be at the pick-up location 10 minutes early. Seemed like we waited 20 minutes due to previous passengers being late. The 2 driver-guides spoke English throughout the entire trip, and they will let you off to take pictures of attractions along the way. The chicken burger and snacks for lunch were alright, even though they were cold. Milford Sound is worth visiting! Due to weather issues, the helicopter tour I originally booked was canceled for two consecutive days, so choosing this tour was worth the price. Highly recommended!

The tour guide explained in detail, giving people a deeper understanding of the country. Walk along the way and see the destination, and you will not feel that the journey is far away. The fjord is magnificent and worth seeing. I was lucky to see seals and penguins, and the dolphins were still swimming by the boat, so cute. If you come to Queenstown, you must come to participate once.

This is really my honest review! I book the trip with my mom. The tour with altitude team is truly amazing, the timeliness, the car is clean and they even provide blanket for all of us. But the star of this journey is Andy! our tour guide+driver, he is so kind and helpful, He even always made sure all of his clients were doing well, and whenever we needed a restroom break, he was very attentive. You could truly see that he loves his job and is passionate about explaining everything throughout the journey. I would definitely choose this tour again for my next trip maybe to mt cook. An excellent and worthwhile trip! The scenery along the way and in the fjords is breathtaking. Our tour guide, James, was a fantastic driver and provided top-notch narration. It's a shame that we couldn't take the scenic flight back due to weather conditions.

Easy meet up, friendly guide and smooth drive

World-class fjord scenery, towering vertical rock walls, and waterfalls that form long white misty dragons with the abundant water between the cliffs, it's truly magnificent!

Wonderful experience! Long day, but our guide #Shelley was outstanding. She made the journey entertaining and informative. We had some good laughs along the way and Milford Sound was spectacular despite non optimal weather. Highly recommended!

Transport arrived right on time. Van was really comfortable. Despite the long 12 hours together, it was an easy experience to hop onboard and follow the tour. Views are breathtaking.
