Taipei is a city bursting with life and what better way to explore some of its most popular landmarks than a 23 stop tour that is offered along two double decker bus routes? Your Taipei double decker bus tour will start off at Taipei Main Station. You will then travel to Ximen, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and depending on which color line you take, you will discover different landmarks. Take the blue line to visit places in the north, such as the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, National Palace Museum, and JianTan. On the red line, you will travel west to Taipei City Hall, Sun Yet Sen Memorial Hall, and the largest park in Taipei, Da'an Park. Choose to hop off at any stop for sightseeing, and hop back on when the next bus on the schedule arrives. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. It is a great way to roam around the city

We started with one round of the red route and then transferred to the blue route to get off at the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall. The buildings were stunning, the National Concert Hall, the National Theater and the actual CKS Memorial Hall building. The surrounding gardens were also nice not to mention the intricate entrance. We stayed for the hourly change of guards then got on the sight seeing bus again to head to the National Palace Museum and Shung Ye Museum. The tour guides were friendly and schedules were accurate.

clean and comfy ride. bus leave and arrive on schedule as stated on their flyer. price here is reasonably cheap and is convenient to obtain from klook.

great experience and fortunately only my friend and I were the passengers when we took the red line bus, we feel special haha

Not worth it. The attendant was not helpful at all. You can get around Taipei easily by bus or MRT and at a much lower rate. Just google the location and it will give you options on what bus or MRT to hop on.
  • MERYLL 16 Jul 2018
Highly recommended. The bus are new and cold. They provide free earphones if you forgot to bring your own which you can use for the audio guide. Do take the blue route first before the red line as it ends earlier. Only downside is the bus stops are a little far from the attraction itself.

An easier way to go around the city and see Taipei's hotspots. I suggest you book the 24 hr pass since this will significantly lessen your transpo expenses. I also suggest you book your Taipei 101 tickets on the same day you book this bus, so you can maximize your time in touring the city.
  • Emma 16 Jul 2018
The best and comfortablle way to go around the city. We will be booking another ride as we are still here in Taiwan! Thanks Klook for completing our city tour.
  • Alyssa Marie 15 Jul 2018
Start early to maximise trip. We started late so only got to see 2 attractions.
