It was a boiling hot day and sitting in the top deck with the air rushing past was so needed. I would choose carefully when you travel on the tour. We decided not to take the hop on and off feature due to the heat. Further the queues of people at certain stops would have meant waiting for another bus. The audio was very informative.

The fastest way to visit Rome, because there are really many people, and it’s easy to hop on and off. You can download the Gray line app to see where the next bus is now (very convenient), but just use the time and speed as a reference ( Because Rome is full of racing cars) but luckily we didn’t catch the first bus and arrived on the next bus in about five minutes (and the seats were still very empty). We just sat in the car and admired the city. It happened to be rainy and cold that day, so there was no need for it. Get wet. The audio guide also has a Chinese version, which is great.

The service is good if you want to cover all points but don't take much time. However, if you want to visit and taken tours inside, it'll take more than 1 day. Green Line tours are more frequent than Gray Line. This bus route goes in a single direction, so if you want to go back to any location which is already covered, then you need to find your own way out.

I booked a one-day ticket, which I found quite convenient for visiting two or three places throughout the day. I could reach the attractions in just a short walk after getting off the bus! There is also an audio guide on the bus introducing the attractions, which is very informative!

I didn't make a reservation in advance and tried to buy it the day before, but it was all sold out, so I barely managed to buy a 24-hour ticket! Please buy it in advance. I was tired after visiting the Vatican, so I took the bus and used it to rest. There was traffic, so I got a little motion sickness, but thanks to that, I was able to rest well and recharge my energy to finish my afternoon schedule. It was a shame that I only got to ride it once because I didn't have enough time!
