Our skilllful tour guide Anwar is very thorough and thoughtful. The tour is around 4-5 hours. It was worth it and fun! For those adult solo travelers, I would definitely recommend going to these kind of tours to meet new people.
I had a wonderful experience with this package. The pickup was on time, and they elaborated all the places to visit at the start of the journey. All places were visited as discussed and I was able to enjoy the trip along with everyone else on the tour. Anwar, our guide and driver, is very accommodating and approachable. He did excellent in driving in the desert, doing sand bashing tricks. I highly recommend Anwar because he makes sure that everyone is comfortable, having a good time, hydrated and he is great in taking pictures and capturing your best angle! He makes sure everyone has pictures as souvenirs for each activity. I was initially torn in choosing another cheaper tour but the reviews of this tour was overwhelming and honestly, it didnt disappoint by one bit. As a solo traveller, I recommend this for anyone who wishes to experience a good desert safari tour experience. Also, choose afternoon session to experience the sunset!
Highly recommend this to anyone transiting in Doha for more than 9 hours! The tour is around 5 hours, and within that time you can experience so much in the desert — ATV (optional), camel rides, dune bashing (my favorite!), sandboarding, watching the sunset, and even visiting the Qatar–Saudi border. Special thanks to my tour guide, Fasal! I joined this tour alone, and he really took great care of me and helped capture so many beautiful photos.
excellent way to spend a long stopover in Doha. the afternoon session culminates in a sunset. it was a well organised experience with lots packed into the six hours or so we were there on. Amber, our driver and guide, was excellent and had a great sense of humour. Advise shorts, T-shirt, sandals, hat and sun block. Bring water or buy at the first convenience store stop. we had lounge access to shower before our onward flight that evening - essential.
Worth every penny! The hotel pick up & drop off was great. The tour with the camel riding, dune bashing, sand boarding, inland sea, and sunset view were all just perfect. The driver and guide Anwar was very helpful and also good with taking photos too!
It felt a little expensive when I first made the reservation, but camel milk tea, desert driving, sandboarding, tea, and dates? I saw the sunset and the moon while eating, and the weather was great. It was a worthwhile trip with no regrets. The guides were really passionate about taking pictures, so it was hard to jump. Haha. Even the hotel pick-up and drop-off was very comfortable and good. The guide was Anwar! If you are wondering whether to do it or not, I will tell you that you can do it haha (I said I was worried because I was traveling alone).
It was a very good, very perfect experience, the guide was very good, reasonable arrangement of the trip, the plan was perfect. I always kept in touch with the travel agency by email, received me on time according to the agreed place, and started a wonderful trip. There was no need to worry about anyone, and the driver would take good care of everyone.
It was a great experience riding the camel. The Desert Safari was exhilarating with the calming inland sea stopover. The sand boarding slide added fun to this tour. To end the tour with the beautiful sunset viewing in the desert whilst enjoying a cup of tea and dates was such a memorable one.
