The museum is so visually iconic that seeing it up close and exploring it is a treat in itself. The exhibits are highly engaging - from immersive screens and sound to interaction corners for kids and families. getting to learn about Qatar and what kind of country it is beyond the beautiful modern luxury cities that we know of now, was truly insightful and inspiring. the Royal Residences were also nice to walk through but nothing major in wow or opulence in that experience.
Must see stunning architecture inside and out getting tickets on klook easy just scan your barcode at the door and your off to explore this amazing exhibition. just remember If your visiting during Ramadan the opening hours are 7pm till midnight only as the website doesn’t say this and we went there and it was closed so had to go back well worth it 🤩
I've been using Klook to buy various tickets since my trip to Osaka, and it's been very convenient. When I saw that the museum tickets were half the price of the official website, I didn't hesitate to buy them and come see for myself. I really liked the exhibition style; it was interesting and made me want to explore. Arabs are truly excellent storytellers. The overall design of the venue was also very innovative, and the souvenir shop was well-designed too. It's definitely worth a visit.
the architectural design is so amazing...it's a combination of both ancient and modern styles. I learned and took a piece of knowledge of the past and present which is worth remembering and sharing. I got amazed of the beautifully crafted jewelleries and adornments. An additional knowledge on how the crude oil industry started in Qatar.
Very nice museum, visual, modern displays. Loved how the Pearl necklaces were displayed. Nice and cool. café had nice selection of foods. Interesting display of 3 cars.
this museum is visually spectacular and reminded me of a scene from the movie Dune. totally in line with the Desert surroundings which is appropriate as it is the venue of telling the story of Qatar itself .
The exterior of this museum is absolutely stunning—a must-see when in Qatar. We spent about an hour inside, and while it was okay, it didn’t quite live up to the wow factor of the outside. I’d recommend admiring the architecture and skipping the interior unless you’re particularly interested in the history of Qatar.
Our visit to the National Museum of Qatar was truly worth it. From the moment we arrived, we were already amazed by the museum’s architecture, it is an incredible work of art, both from the outside and throughout the interior. Every space is beautifully designed and thoughtfully curated, making the experience immersive and memorable. Although some parts of the museum are still under construction, it did not take away from how impressive the visit was. We will definitely come back once everything is fully completed. A special mention to the staff, they were very helpful, welcoming, and attentive, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Qatar. This museum is truly a must-see.
