Hailu Island is known as "Sea Fairy Mountain, Kingdom of Gulls and Egrets." It is 2 nautical miles from the mainland and is a fairy island and bird kingdom that integrates myths, legends, and beautiful natural scenery. Legend has it that when Erlang Shen was carrying mountains to fill the sea, his carrying pole suddenly broke, and two large mountains fell into the sea, transforming into Hailu Island and Jiming Island. The island features towering peaks and strange rocks, where black-tailed gulls and yellow-billed egrets coexist. Patches of hibiscus bushes, reeds, and wild jujube trees complement the white birds and red flowers, creating a picturesque scene. Siberian seals come here every spring for vacation. The movie "Godsend" (28th Golden Rooster Awards) was created here over seven years.
