Kaudulla National Park Private Safari

Kaudulla National Park, near Habarana and Polonnaruwa, is one of Sri Lanka’s best destinations for observing wild elephants in their natural habitat. The private safari lasts approximately three hours and is usually scheduled in the early morning or late afternoon. Visitors may see large elephant herds near the Kaudulla reservoir, along with deer, sambar, wild boar, sloth bears, and many bird species. The park’s open grasslands, forest trails, reservoir, and beautiful scenery create a memorable wildlife experience. Elephant sightings are especially common from August to December. Each safari is private for your group and is led by an experienced driver-tracker.
