Minneriya National Park Half-day Wildlife & National Park Tour

It is a really good safari experience,and the guide is really patient and kind, he always meets my demands and he is really good at searching animals. We find a lot of animals, not only elephants( and there are a great amount of elephants for real),but also the other wildlife.I will definitely recommend it!

It was a fun and enjoyable experience even though it was hot during the afternoon time.The guide shared some interesting facts about the place and also about the animals.We saw groups of elephants up close just 50m away.If you want to experience the less crowded safari this one is perfect!

While traveling in Sri Lanka with my child, I stumbled upon Minneriya through Klook. It truly felt like the Serengeti of Asia. After only seeing zoo elephants confined in enclosures, witnessing countless herds of elephants grazing on the plains next to the lake was incredibly peaceful and a magnificent sight. My child loved it too, and although the weather was hot, it's a memory I'll never forget. Our kind guide even bought us delicious king coconuts.

It was the best trip. We traveled by jeep to Minneriya National Park. Once we arrived at the park, we went to a spot where there were elephants. Luckily, there were 40 elephants. They came very close, and we were able to take photos and videos up close. Our guide also took pictures of us. We had to go to Colombo afterward, so we asked to finish early. Finally, we drank coconut juice at another location before heading back. Both guides were very kind, and it was a comfortable tour. Thank you very much.

Shammi was a wonderful tour guide who took very good care of me as a solo safari tourist ☺️ he made sure I got all of the time I needed with the elephants and nature!

Compared to other tours, this one feels a bit expensive, perhaps because it departs from and returns to Heritance Kandalama. During the tour, our jeep got stuck in the mud for an hour, causing delays to our subsequent travel plans.
