Guide

The Saint Sophia Cathedral, built in 1907, is a landmark building in Harbin. Its green onion-domed roof is very eye-catching. Although this magnificent Byzantine-style building no longer functions as a church, it still attracts many visitors as one of Harbin's most beautiful exotic-style buildings. The Saint Sophia Cathedral is currently China's most well-preserved Byzantine-style building. Although it was renamed the "Harbin Architectural Art Museum" in 1997, both locals and tourists prefer to call it the "Sophia Cathedral."
