Whether a fan of history and politics or not, a visit to the border territory between North and South Korea is an eye-opening experience. You'll travel to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), a buffer between the two sides, and explore historic sites including Imjingak Park, the Freedom Bridge and the secretly dug 3rd Infiltration Tunnel. After stopping for a local lunch, you'll be escorted through the checkpoint at Panmunjom (officially known as the Joint Security Area (JSA)), a supposedly neutral zone in times of war where the two sides met. Here you'll visit Freedom House and learn about the Bridge of No Return and the Ax Murder Incident. At which point you'll be able to say you have technically entered North Korea! If you currently feel like you lack knowledge on the subject, not to fear, you'll be an expert after taking this tour.

The tour was very organized and on time. I was picked up at my apartment 10mins before the said pick up time. Chloe, our guide for the DMZ tour was also very jolly and informative. Our lunch was a serving of delicious bulgogi at a restaurant in DMZ. In the afternoon, we were led to another group for the JSA tour. It was very tense, specially seeing (and having the opportunity to take a picture of) NK soldiers, less than a feet away. It was definitely the highlight of our tour. We weren't able to go to the bridge of no return due to military reasons though. Seriously, don't book DMZ without JSA. JSA is super worth it.
Very valuable to go. The guides showed us the history of DMZ. Strict rules have to be observed in JSA as it is a critical area. Time of visiting JSA is tight but you can get a glimpse of North Korea and its soldiers which is very valuable! A must go spot to know more about history of Korea!
Amazing experience. It is not like any ordinary tour you can find anywhere in the world. Both the DMZ and JSA were brilliant but it is during the JSA tour where you can really feel the tension between the two countries. Highly recommended for everyone to at least experience this once in their lives!
Klook really made this journey easy. It was a rainy day, but we were picked up on time at Seoul Station and taken to a bus, which we took the rest of the way to the DMZ. On return, we were dropped off near our hotel. My friends and I really loved the full day tour. I enjoyed the 3rd tunnel and the JSA was the highlight of a tour. Such a sobering, educational experience. Would recommend you do this trip in your life-time as there is really nothing like it.
tour was split between morning session and afternoon session , but everything proceeded smoothly
