Whether a fan of history and politics or not, a visit to the border territory between North and South Korea is an eye-opening experience. You'll travel to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), a buffer between the two sides, and explore historic sites including Imjingak Park, the Freedom Bridge and the secretly dug 3rd Infiltration Tunnel. After stopping for a local lunch, you'll be escorted through the checkpoint at Panmunjom (officially known as the Joint Security Area (JSA)), a supposedly neutral zone in times of war where the two sides met. Here you'll visit Freedom House and learn about the Bridge of No Return and the Ax Murder Incident. At which point you'll be able to say you have technically entered North Korea! If you currently feel like you lack knowledge on the subject, not to fear, you'll be an expert after taking this tour.

I highly recommend going for this tour when in Seoul, and definitely go with the Panmunjom (JSA) option. You will learn about the history behind the tension between North and South Korea, and the reason for DMZ and JAS. The tour guides spoke in English, the lunch provided was yummy and there were still enough time to rest and shop. Thanks, Klook for providing this tour!
Everything was prearranged through Klook and I was picked up on time that morning without any problems. Both guides for the DMZ (morning) and JSA (after lunch) were very informative and interesting to listen to during the bus ride! It did feel slightly rushed but with all the sights, it's understandable. I highly recommend this tour.
Awesome! Great and nice tour guide! Awesome lunch. Thank you for an organize arrangmnt and awesome tour. This trip has been an eye opener for us. Keep up the good work!
Good experience, but the time is a bit rush. Still encourage to join if you are interested in the history of Korea.
It would be better if Mandarin tour or Cantonese tour can be provided
