Salute to Pearl Harbor Half-Day Tour in Hawaii

If you’re in Honolulu this is a must. The pick up instructions weren’t clear and we almost missed the tour - we didn’t confirm within 24 hours despite having already paid and being on holiday. Worth keeping an eye on your emails (hard to do while relaxing) but other than that and the racist bus driver we had an enjoyable day out. Pearl Harbour itself is steeped in history and is a place of reflection. Not included but the VR experience there is worth the extra cost.

The guide on the way to and from the memorial site was informative and passionate. Upon entry to the site it wasn’t clear what was and wasn’t included or where to go. Far more activities available at considerable extra cost that weren’t part of the deal. Nice to visit and learn more, but fairly expensive for what was offered.

It was a tour on the Waikiki Trolley double decker. Our guide/driver, who spoke like Chris Tucker, told us many stories with a lot of humor. To be honest, it was a little difficult for me as I am not a native English speaker. He was very persistent in confirming the meeting time etc. Unfortunately, the tour of the Arizona Memorial was suddenly canceled, but I like to interpret it as a request to come and see it again sometime.

We enjoyed the tour. we were not hurried. instructions was clear and our guide was very knowledgeable.

There will be a few designated pick-up points, not directly at the hotel. The memorial hall itself doesn't require an entrance fee (though it seems you need to apply in advance), so the cost mainly covers transportation. The tour guide will provide an overview on the bus, and once inside the park, you're free to explore on your own. The paid Chinese audio guide available for rent in the park, in my opinion, is quite useless. You'd be better off using AI to take pictures and have it explain things to you; that would be much clearer.

Our guide Nali is funny, informative and attentive. The tour itself is memorable, a must go for those who are interested in historical events. We had a bit more than 3 hours, enough time to pay a visit to ASS Arizona, watch a 25 minutes movie and go through the exhibit.

This has been a very informative and fun tour, thanks to the driver Big Jon. pickup was punctual, format is easy to follow and I have more than enough time to explore USS Arizona. would recommend.

I traveled with a child, buying the pass really works for me, especially it offers complimentary pickup and drop off.. it gives you a free mind of visiting this busy place. really recommend it to everyone with family.

It was a well organized trip. The bus driver Humu Humu if i got it right was full of humer! Especially knowledgeable about the trip. Kudos to him. The Pearl Harbor definitely is something that you have to do when you travel Hawaii. Culture and history is there.
