Miaowang City is located in Zhengda Town, Songtao Miao Autonomous County, Tongren City, Guizhou Province. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction, originally built in the early Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty (1368), with a history of over 600 years, and is known as "the first village in a thousand miles of Miao territory." The scenic area integrates politics, economy, culture, military, and architecture. It currently preserves over 2,000 meters of ancient city walls, 4 city gates, 11 military alleys, and 11 village gates, forming a unique "Bagua Labyrinth" defense system. It boasts core attractions such as stilt house clusters, the former residence of the Miao King, and a folk square. Daily performances of intangible cultural heritage folk customs like climbing a knife ladder and the four-sided drum dance are staged, making it one of the best-preserved ancient Miao villages in Southwest China.
