- Due to the early nature of this sunrise flight, the operator will email a tentative weather update the night before based on the initial forecast. For your final weather check, please call the operator at +64 800-676-264 exactly 40 minutes before your flight
- Please note that check-in will be 20 minutes prior to departure
- Departure times vary weekly throughout the season in line with sunrise changes. A weather call will be made the evening before your flight, with exact departure timing reconfirmed at that point which is typically 5–10 minutes different from what's shown on your booking
- Pilots will assess the forecast for the full duration of the trip and will not depart Queenstown if conditions are expected to change. As flights are weather-dependent, a weather check is conducted 1 hour before each scheduled departure. If the flight cannot proceed due to adverse weather, the team will attempt to reschedule based on your availability and flight slots. If rescheduling isn't possible, a 100% refund will be provided
- The cruising altitude is weather-dependent and ranges between 5,000 to 10,000 ft
- Earmuffs are provided for young passengers to help with cabin noise. They offer a noise reduction rating of 22dB and are approved to Global Safety Standards
- Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited in the aircraft. Any guests who commits an infringement offence is liable to an infringement fee of AUD 500, or a fine imposed by a court not exceeding AUD 2,500
Passenger weight limit
- To ensure the aircraft operates safely within its maximum weight limitations and centre of gravity, passenger weights are required at the time of booking. This helps with operational planning, seat availability, and overall customer experience
- Guests weighing 140 kg or more must contact the operator directly at info@glenorchyair.co.nz before booking
- If actual weight at check-in exceeds the declared weight by more than 15 kg, this may cause the aircraft's weight and balance limits to be exceeded. In such cases, the booking may need to be rescheduled, subject to availability

- Guests with disabilities are kindly asked to contact the operator directly at info@glenorchyair.co.nz prior to booking, as air operators are legally required to consider seating arrangements and emergency exit accessibility for passengers with limited mobility

- Children aged 0-14 must be accompanied by a paying adult
- Infants over 15 kg must occupy their own seat and will be charged the Child price
