Loved the introduction to different breeds of sheep! had so many close encounters with deers, llamas, sheep and you get to feed them. definitely go to the farm nursery to take a look at the baby calf and lamb! so cute!! great for animal lovers! just remember to wear old shoes since there’s lots of poo around. they have a shoe washing station though so no worries!
This is one of the most satisfying activities I did in the North Island. First of all, the sheep shearing show was so enjoyable, and it was nice that the audience came up on stage and experienced it together~ And the farm tour while riding the train was really great. You can get off at each stop and feed the sheep and alpacas. It was a memory that I don't often have because you can interact with the animals directly instead of feeding them through a fence. It was still early spring that day, so I couldn't eat kiwi, but instead I tried honey one by one, and it was so delicious~
Absolutely worth the price! the experience of feeding farm animals was really fun, we had plenty of opportunities to play around with the sheep and alpacas. the farm show was really fun and engaged everyone from all demographics!
The setting of the Agrodome is simply stunning, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, and it was a joy to soak in the natural beauty of the area. We also appreciated the emphasis on natural and organic farming, which aligns with modern sustainable practices. In conclusion, the Agrodome Farm Show and Tour is a must-visit for anyone in Rotorua, whether you’re a family looking for a fun day out, a couple seeking unique experiences, or an individual interested in agriculture. It's a wonderful way to learn about New Zealand's farming heritage while enjoying some lively entertainment. I left feeling delighted, educated, and with a deeper appreciation for the farming community. Don't miss this fantastic experience on your visit!
Very nice and child friendly. Definitely worth it. The is 1 hour and the farm tour is almost 1 hour. My child definitely like it. Only issue is the cafe, where only serve Mon to Wed and other days are buffet at 45 per adult and 35 per child.
It was fun~ If you check the show and farm tour times, you can enjoy the tour efficiently. During the tour, there will be poop on the floor, so wear shoes that you don't mind getting dirty (you can wash your shoes with water after the tour). I like that the show is translated into Korean. It's very fun and funny haha. Showmanship is no joke. There are no steps between the seats, so you have to sit in the front to get a good view and take good pictures. If you are traveling by train, be sure to check the time of the last train.
I highly recommend this farm to everyone, the lambs are so cute 😍 We arrived a little early, and the staff thoughtfully helped us arrange an earlier flight so that we could join the tour early. In addition to the tour, this farm can also There are not many places to visit, and you can finish it in one go. Although the farms are large, most of them are not open to you. During the tour, a super cute car will take everyone deep into the farm. As soon as they enter the sheep area, there are already many sheep running behind the car, which is super cute. After parking the car, the tour guide will bring out the feed for everyone to feed. The sheep are really crazy about the feed, and they will even want to pounce on you to attract attention. Everyone must pay attention, because clothes are super easy to get dirty. If your clothes are dirty, you should show them off immediately. We fed sheep, alpacas and deer, and saw cows and pigs. There were explanations along the way, which was great. But please pay special attention to it. It was raining a little on the day I went, and my shoes were extremely dirty. They were covered in mud. Please don’t wear shoes that are not easy to clean. It will cause a breakdown. However, there is a shoe washing area in the park. , and a brush for instant cleanup. After watching the tour, there was also a sheep shaving show and a shepherd dog show. The sheep and shepherd dogs were super cute. There were headphones for the show seats, and when you put them on, there would be instant translation in Chinese, which was very considerate. At the end of the whole show, you can go to the stage to take photos with different kinds of sheep and shepherd dogs, and you can even touch them. It’s a great experience that people who like animals must not miss.
I had a great time in this farm. The farm show is wonderful & there are many different kinds of sheep. We also met with Alpacas, highlands cow, pigs, goats & etc....
Really enjoyed the farm show which included introduction to sheep, sheep shearing, border collie performance. The host was very interactive with the audience and kudos to the team for preparing multilingual audio via headphones! Farm tour was exciting, getting up close and personal with adorable sheep and alpaca! They won’t approach you if you don’t have food though. Also couldn’t hear the guide well as I was sitting at the furthest row of the vehicle during the tour. The view from the alpaca hill was spectacular! Dog show only lasts a few minutes but I still enjoyed watching the dog herd the 3 sheep. Nursery only had a few calves and bunnies, less exciting than I expected. Overall worth it and would recommend!
Perfect activity!! Lovely staff. On time! The price is same but in Klook you may get some special code from credit card or else
