- The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple Cultural Tourism Area is located 1.5 kilometers north of Dali Ancient City, backed by Cangshan Mountain and facing Erhai Lake. It was once the royal temple of the Nanzhao and Dali Kingdoms, and also the prototype of "Tianlong Temple" in Jin Yong's novel "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils". Historically, 9 kings of the Dali Kingdom became monks and practiced here, giving it extraordinary status.
- The scenic area is mainly divided into two parts: the front area is the ancient site area with the Three Pagodas as its core, and the back area is the magnificent Chongsheng Temple complex. The current Chongsheng Temple was rebuilt in 2005, ending the history of the Three Pagodas having "pagodas without a temple" for nearly a hundred years.
