Jiulong Mountain Tourist Resort, also known as Jiulong Mountain Manor, is located in Zhapu Town on the north bank of Hangzhou Bay, 90 kilometers away from Shanghai and Hangzhou city centers. It is a good choice for leisure and vacation for tourists from surrounding areas.
The resort area is quite large, making it more suitable for self-driving tours. It is divided into five parts: a resort and tourism area, a sports area, a good business and residential area, a commercial area, and a Buddhist cultural area. Among them, the Buddhist cultural area, centered around Waipushan Island (30 yuan), and the sports area, which gathers many experience projects such as golf, yachting, and equestrianism, are more popular with tourists.
It takes about 1.5 hours to walk from the scenic gate to the vicinity of Waipushan. You can reach the island by crossing the Tongtian Bridge. The atmosphere on the small island is quite Zen-like, with the Xiaoputuo Guanyin Zen Temple and many Buddhist cultural landscapes, where visitors can listen to the waves, worship Buddha, and relax.
From late June to late September each year, the Jiulong Mountain Happy Land Water Park within the resort opens its doors to visitors. The rich and thrilling water entertainment projects allow you to experience various rapid dives and spins in the hot summer, providing a cool summer experience.
