This is a tour to take you deep into the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone), just a few miles from North Korean territory, to discover more about Korea's turbulent past. Despite its name, the DMZ is the area between two of the most heavily armed frontiers on earth. However, this no man's land is remarkably safe for tourists (and even world leaders) to visit, but is only accessible via group tours. Your guide will relate the fascinating history surrounding the area as you visit historical sites: war relics at Imjingak Park, Freedom Bridge across which almost 13,000 Korean POWs walked to freedom, the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel - an invasion route built beneath the border, the DMZ exhibition theater, and views of North Korea from atop the Dora Observatory.
Important note: Do not forget your passport on the day of the tour
You are required to provide your name as it appears in your passport, your Nationality and your Passport Number in order to obtain the permit for entry. Please have these ready at check out
Korean visitors must provide their citizen registration number

Highly recommended! Our tour guide's a funny guy and fluent in English. He shares interesting information and is very very friendly. All iterinaries are good look in North and South Korea's history (I hated going inside the tunnel though). Lunch is also authentic Korean bibimbap and bulgogi with great price and amazing taste.
The guided tour is no frills. Every thing is well talen cared of. And the guide keep on reminding that passport should be presented. Which is a good thing because you don't want to be the cause of delay of others. The lunch that comes with the package is not that good after a few hours of walking I was kind of expecting a very delicious meal. Food was ok. But not great. Overall I would recommend this for purchase.
This tour is really educational. I had learned a lot of information which I didnt know about the relationship of south and noth kore. This is a must try!
this is a tour not to miss especially if you are a war history buff. great tour guide that we had in Ms. Sunny Lee she had a lot of stories to tell about the war. sad though that we were not able to go to panmunjom because of some military exercise. make sure to add this tour to your korean experience.
Our guide was very well informed and very helpful I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I 2oupd suggest that we spend least time at Dorasan station and more time at Dora observatory. But overall it was great!
