This is a tour to take you deep into the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone), just a few miles from North Korean territory, to discover more about Korea's turbulent past. Despite its name, the DMZ is the area between two of the most heavily armed frontiers on earth. However, this no man's land is remarkably safe for tourists (and even world leaders) to visit, but is only accessible via group tours. Your guide will relate the fascinating history surrounding the area as you visit historical sites: war relics at Imjingak Park, Freedom Bridge across which almost 13,000 Korean POWs walked to freedom, the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel - an invasion route built beneath the border, the DMZ exhibition theater, and views of North Korea from atop the Dora Observatory.

The experience was satisfying, with detailed explanation from tour guide introducing DMZ. Traffic from hotel to DMZ was well arranged, very convenient.
we were very lucky to have Captain Hans, an ex peacekeeper as our guide :) enjoyed the trip tho it was a little disappointing that we didn't get to go up the observatory tower due to the snow.
This was a valuable experience, especially walking through the 3rd channel. The tour guide explained the background history and she speaks good Mandarin. Highly recommend this tour.
The tour guide was great but it's too commercialized.
The driver came on time to pick us at our hotel. Got into a small van and then changed to a bus at the meeting point where we met our guide sunny. Guide was knowledgeable and shared interesting stories with us to prepare us for the DMZ tour later. Tunnel visit can be very strenuous and tiring for older folks due to the steep sloop up which is ard 850m. Otherwise I will recommend this tour to know more about the history between north and South Korea. I definitely enjoyed myself.
