Reviews
Reviews summaryhazel was an excellent and extremely thorough tour guide! she explained lots of about the history of north korea and the dmz, as well as explaining each activity throughly! the bus picked up at the exact time advertised and was quick and comfortable, we did 4 stops and they were all worth it, the best bit was the tunnel tour, as you get to go underground through the tunnels north korea dug! also, make sure to book with the q and a with a north korean defector, as it was really informative and interesting to hear stories from the person! overall, the tour is definitely worth your money and i would recommend booking with hazel if possible as she was very helpful!
Amazing DMZ Tour with Erica! Erica made this tour absolutely unforgettable — knowledgeable, warm, and clearly passionate about sharing Korea's history. She brought the Third Tunnel, JSA, and Dora Observatory to life with stories that were both moving and easy to follow, and she kept our group on schedule the whole day without ever feeling rushed. If you're booking a DMZ tour, ask for Erica — hands down one of the best guides I've had. Five stars!
여니 (연이) Yeoni was our guide and she was very sweet. she was great at guiding us throughout the history of North and South Korea. My favourite parts of the trip we’re, talking to the North Korean defector and interpreter, and also seeing through the windows in the third tunnel.
We had an amazing experience on the DMZ Tour! It was one of the most interesting and educational tours we’ve joined in Korea. The itinerary was well-organized, and learning about the history of the Korean Peninsula made the experience even more meaningful. A special thank you to our tour guide, Erica. She is incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything in a clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand way. Her English is excellent, and her pronunciation and accent made it very easy for everyone in the group to follow along. She shared historical facts, answered questions patiently, and kept the tour both informative and enjoyable from start to finish. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you have Erica as your guide. She truly made the experience memorable. Thank you for such a wonderful day!
Our tour guide, Ms Yeoni, lead a group of almost 40 tourists very well! she is very passionate, warm and friendly! Instructions were very easily understood and able to reach out whenever during the tour! much credits to the driver as well, ensuring smooth transit with a full bus through narrow roads and hills!
Our guide for the tour Yeoni was really insightful, used personal stories and looked after every single person in our group. She also gave excellent advice throughout, and even recommended me some local Ginseng to try out. All in all a 10/10 experience, and certainly unmatched. If you do get Yeoni for your tour, you will have the best experience ever, one you’ll never forget in a lifetime. 감사합니다 💜
We had a fantastic experience on this DMZ tour. It was incredibly interesting and gave us a much better understanding of the history and the current situation between North and South Korea. The itinerary was well organized, and every stop was worth visiting. A very special mention goes to Dora, who was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided so many interesting facts throughout the day. Her explanations were clear, engaging, and made the experience even more memorable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Seoul. Thank you, Dora, for making our day so enjoyable!
The DMZ tour with our guide Dora went so smoothly, we saw many places we heard about before. My kids and I had a great experience and are highlighted recommending this tour. Dora was very friendly and helpful.
Before I write anything about the tour itself, I must emphasize that everyone involved (especially Felicity!) put in a lot of effort. I was contacted very kindly multiple times to ensure I arrived safely at the meeting point. Regarding the tour: It was highly organized, and we started early in the morning once everyone was present. Our first stop was the museum and the meeting with the North Korean defector. Personally, I felt it was too short. I would have liked more time to explore the various sights and perhaps even walk across the bridge. However, the museum and meeting were excellent! 👍🏻 The second stop was the observatory 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻, and from that point on, the souvenir shops became a bit much for me. I found some items to be simply disrespectful (hand grenade bags and bullet casings as pens?). The last stop wasn't really necessary, but it was okay before heading back to Seoul :) In summary, it was a nice tour, though a bit too expensive for me, and I would have preferred more time for it :D
Booked via Klook, our DMZ tour was led by two guides: one Mandarin-speaking guide and one English-speaking guide named Dora, who was humorous. We especially loved the North Korean defector meeting session and visiting the suspension bridge. Our Mandarin-speaking guide introduced Korean history and the itinerary wonderfully—she was eager to help us take photos, explained the sights and history clearly, and even recommended some delicious fried chicken in City Hall.
