I booked a sunset catamaran cruise in Santorini with this operator and on the day of the activity, the weather forecast showed very strong winds and rough sea conditions. The local operator maintained that because the Port Authority had not cancelled the cruise, it would operate as scheduled and no refund would be considered if we cancel. My concern was never about safety—it was about the quality and enjoyment of the experience in exceptionally rough weather. A sunset catamaran cruise is meant to be relaxing and enjoyable, not simply operational. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of flexibility and customer service. The response focused entirely on policy, with no consideration for whether customers would actually receive the pleasant experience they had paid for or for travelers who could not reschedule due to fixed itineraries. Great customer service is not just about following policies—it is about using good judgment and showing consideration.
