Reviews
we had a very unique experience.Mel was our tutor who was fantastic. everyone else in the team were very kind and attentive. highly recommend to anyone who is after a very memorable Japanese experience.
The chopstick class was very affordable. being able to personalize them at the end was my favorite part. I engraved Prosper and Japan 26’ on mine. The staff was great. my son enjoyed it also he was really in his element and focused. We picked out the wood first, cut the wood (the shaving were the best part) , sanded the wood down to a smooth finish and then oiled it. Rin was helpful even took our picture. $20 to engrave paid 6 dollars for Klook booking. 8 min walk from my hotel to the building. highlight of my trip so far.
Make sure you find the elevator it's on the 8th floor. The staff was very helpful and nice. It took us 2 hours total but it was worth the time. They had space for luggage which was very welcome during our transfer day. The engraving supported UTF8 / Unicode characters and even emojis, which was nice. Overall super nice experience.
went with my son. So much more fun and satisfing than expected. well spent money for a cool experience and a great memory/souvenir to take home. extra plus for the english soeaking guide
loved this experience! the guides were all excellent and could speak great English. step by step was easy to follow and I’m really pleased with the results.
Last minute decision and the best one we made in town! Great experience, very affordable (fam of 4, chopsticks with engraving) Kids had a great time! They do a few different workshops. Super friendly and English speaking. They just opened a few days ago in this location (original location is in Ginza) but they are amazing!!
Ayana took care of us this afternoon! Her and the rest of the staff greeted us warmly. The workshop was also really spacious and easy to work in; we didn't feel crowded at all. For people who haven't done this before, the instructions + the setup were pretty fine-tuned so you can't mess up, but she was always ready to answer questions and offer feedback. Thank you for having us~ 🫶
I believe this is a one of a kind experience you can have in Tokyo. The workshop is located at the heart of Shinjuku. Could see a different angle of the Godzilla head from the 8th floor. The staff were all so friendly and lovely. Shout out to Nonoka sensei ✨. Thank you for having me. Arigatou ❤️😃.
Pleasant experience. Very nice and a lovely memory. It was relaxing. The staff speaks excellent English. The port is clean and well-maintained. ATTENTION: it's on the eighth floor, not the tenth as written in the address. However, there's a sign on the building's entrance door that says "chopsticks studio F8"
LOVED this so much that we stayed for the Kintsugi one. My husband had the idea of doing this as a family. We thought it would be a fun activity for us, so we decided to book it immediately after reading everyone's reviews. What a treat. Absolutely EVERYONE who works there was kind and helpful. They made us feel welcome and never rushed. We left with wonderful custom souvenirs to take home and wonderful memories.
