What to expect
Enjoy a splendid night out in Xi'an and watch an amazing music and dance performance in the best traditions of the Tang Dynasty. Dubbed the most progressive and prosperous era of Chinese Imperial Rule, the times of the Tang Dynasty marked China's advances to the west, lucrative trade unions and cultural development. Combining poetry, exotic musical instruments, singing, folk dancing, imperial court music and more, the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show is a great way to start your Xi'an experience and learn more about China's ancient past! Make your way to the Shanxi Opera House (unless you have arranged transfers) to pick up your ticket. The show starts at 8.00pm and finishes at 9.10pm. Make sure you get to the theatre at least 10 minutes before the show starts so that you have time to collect your tickets and find your seats. Make an evening of it by also booking a delicious Xi'an dumpling meal or opt for the added convenience of roundtrip hotel transfers.

A wonderful one hour traditional performance, it is believed that the dances were performed since Tang Dynasty. With the beautiful scenery background and classical music makes the audience feel like in the Tang's era. Check in is easy and smooth process allocating the seat.
It was a little hard to find the place. Go early to get the best seats. There's alot of variation of dumplings that come with the buffet. The show was great and entertaining.
Great show! The performers are very talented in both music and dance. Gives you a great introduction/summary to the Tang Dynasty. I just did the ticket option - got to the venue very easily and was seated immediately. Be aware of the cultural differences for the audience. They’re likely to be speaking, using phones and moving around during the show. Would recommend this to everyone for some light evening entertainment!
A good entertainment with colourful costume and traditional music.
Show worth going. Dumpling banquet can omit. Tasteless and not fresh .
