Review for: Murano & Burano Island Cruise Tour with 3-Hour Free Time

The tour content at the time of booking was completely different from the actual experience. The booking page stated: "Murano glass demonstration: 1 hour" and "Free time to explore Murano: 50 minutes." I expected to spend approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes on Murano Island. However, there was no free time to explore, and we were not allowed to leave the group. We were taken to a souvenir shop and were unaware that we could leave from there. Additionally, the booking page stated "3-hour stay" for Burano Island, but we only stayed for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. On the day of the tour, two types of tour groups were on the same boat: the Murano-Burano tour (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes stay) and the Murano-Burano-Torcello tour (approximately 3 hours stay). This was announced on the boat and confirmed by staff. In other words, the tour content we participated in did not match what was advertised. I feel deceived, as I chose this tour specifically for the longer stay. It's very disappointing. I believe the description is misleading, so I advise future bookers to be cautious.

The guide didn't show up, and there was no information from the local tour company. The water bus company offered a tour for 25 euros, but without a guide.
