- Mount Siguniang, known as the "Queen of Sichuan Mountains," is composed of four peaks: Dafeng, Erfeng, Sanfeng, and Yaomei Peak. The Mount Siguniang scenic area mainly consists of three classic valleys: Shuangqiao Valley, Changping Valley, and Haizi Valley. Shuangqiao Valley and Changping Valley are the main attractions, with roads leading deep into the hinterland, allowing you to enjoy glaciers, snow peaks, colorful forests, and alpine pastures up close without long-distance hiking, making it very suitable for a "light luxury lazy" travel style.

Remember to factor in buffer time should you be rushing for a flight or train as we were stuck in a car accident a few cars ahead of us coming down from the mountain. Driving is generally fast around the winding roads so will have to voice out to driver to be slower when we felt nauseous.

Driver Rick was very pleasant and conversational, punctual, and polite. The car was large, spacious, and new, with excellent air conditioning – unlike other ride-hailing cars in Chengdu where the AC felt like it wasn't even on. The driver was very experienced with the routes and drove steadily. He even stopped for us to take photos when there was a beautiful view. Although the journey was four hours long, it didn't feel like we had been sitting for that long at all. Booking this car through Klook this time was a fantastic experience.

The driver on our trip from Chengdu to Mount Siguniang was constantly overtaking in the oncoming lane, doing so on highways, in tunnels, and on mountain roads. It was very alarming, and we couldn't sleep for the entire 4.5-hour journey. For the return trip (from Mount Siguniang to Chengdu), the supplier assigned us the same driver. We immediately contacted Klook's online customer service to report the situation, and the Klook representative promptly contacted the supplier to request a driver change. In the end, the supplier provided us with a driver who had excellent driving etiquette. Overall, we are satisfied.
