Xochimilco Floating Gardens Boat Ride with Tacos & Drinks

My experience with the Xochimilco trajineras was amazing. I absolutely loved the atmosphere—there was music, games, dancing, tequila, tacos, sweets, and so much more. It was such a fun and lively experience, and it was definitely worth it. I would 100% go back again. What I appreciated the most was the great communication and service. We arrived about 15 minutes late, but Omar, the guide who gave us the tour, stayed in touch with us and kindly waited. That really made a difference and showed excellent customer service. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and I highly recommend it!

Both tour guides were very kind and shared many interesting insights about Mexico. They also taught us how to play Mexican games and make tequila cocktails on the boat, which were delicious. I'll try making them at home sometime. They even gave everyone a cute, miniature traditional Mexican container. The boat also offered some free food and drinks, including fried crickets, traditional Mexican peanut candy, and chocolate, which was quite unique. At the beginning, the guides told us that we would stop at a restaurant for snacks and to use the restroom on the way. When we arrived, we found the restroom to be very smelly, and it wasn't a normal toilet; there wasn't even a seat, and only men could use the urinal. It was truly unsanitary. The burritos offered at the restaurant were also not good, with very little filling. Everything else was fine, and it was still a very interesting experience.

The tour guide contacted us beforehand via WhatsApp with important information and the meeting time. On the boat, he explained a lot and even played games to liven up the atmosphere. I highly recommend joining this tour. Francisco is a very good tour guide.
