Bangkok Canals Hop-On Hop-Off Boat Tour

Glad we took this tour at the very last minute. It was worth it as we got to see the big Buddha at Wat Paknam up close. It was also interesting to ride in a longtail boat exploring the hidden canals of BKK.

Such a great experience from start to finish! The guide was friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip in Bangkok. Highly recommended, and I’d gladly book again!

Fun experience! We were the only people on the boat and our driver Kobb was very nice. He will drive you to multiple piers and wait 15-30mins as you go around. I have mobility issues (weak knees and cannot flex my left knee completely) but I was able to manage getting on and off the boat - with assistance of course! 😊Artist's House is incredibly packed on a Saturday that it's hard to wade through the throng people and the sea of slippers outside the place. Giant buddha is a great sight from the canal. My only gripe is the drop off area being different from the starting point. It's too far from the BTS station (1.4km away). TIP: wear a shawl over on the boat to protect from splashes!

I really enjoyed it. This tour allows you to experience old Thailand. The guide was also kind, which was great. Wat Paknam from the boat was amazing. I especially recommend this tour for repeat visitors.

A couple of things to think about. These boats are low in the water and would prove a challenge to anyone with any form of mobility issue. Especially the Big Buddah stop where the landing pier is higher than the other stops. Another thing is that after your cruise you will not be dropped at the pick-up point but further along and 15 minutes from the closest BTS station. Never the less very enjoyable and good value!

This two-person boat experience was quite good. Although there was no commentary, we were able to look up information online, and the stopover time was more than enough for us. The boat operator was also very kind and even helped us take photos in spots that were difficult to capture.

If you’re debating, DO IT! I did a solo trip this day and had this on the agenda. They messaged me earlier in the day letting me know the group I was going to be paired with canceled and still took me out on the boat, being the only one with my driver. He was so accommodating and welcoming. Gave me plenty of time at each stop and made sure I was doing okay throughout the tour. I was between this and the Floating Markets and this was a great mini version to see everything closer to the city I think. I saw beautiful temples and got to walk through so many cute little shop while always floating down the canal seeing the homes along the way. It is a day I will always remember! 10/10 recommend

We had an awesome afternoon in Thonburi on this trip. Can highly recommend this tour. I have been to Bangkok many times before, but have never explored this area. it’s best seen from the canals, and this is an inexpensive and good way to see some of the highlights of the area. Especially the big Buddha and the artist house area.

Such a great way to spend an afternoon in Bangkok. Our contact and boat driver were both really helpful and friendly and the timings for visiting each of the locations were perfect. I live in Bangkok and decided to go on this tour with a friend who was visiting. I'll definitely be recommending to future visitors and joining the tour again!

Truly a highlight of our trip and great value for money. Our guide was very friendly and funny and the sights and experience were amazing. I agree that this is not a tour you should take if you have mobility issues as getting in and out of the boat was sometimes tricky, so take that into consideration. Only downside is that the stops were sometimes short, and that the tour ends sort of in the middle of nowhere and a good 15min walk from the nearest station. Overall I really recommend this activity though. it was lots of fun!
