Reviews
The tour was great! Good thing that the isolated thunderstorm stopped before the tour started. Surina was our tour guide and she was very detailed oriented. She was early at the meeting point, just like we were as well. She is a fun and an awesome tour guide to be with. She shared a lot of Bangkok and local histories/stories. She ensured we were accommodated throughout the trip. Although, we were unable to go inside the War Paknam Phasi Charoen due to a important ceremony, Surina showed us the best spot to take pictures, she even ask the boat man to stop for a bit when she finds something interesting to share. She took even videos and pictures of us. Let us feed the fishes at the floating market as her own expense! She is practical and simple just the way we like it. The adventure was for sure more fun and enjoyable because of her. We hope to meet her someday once again. Higly recommend the tour with Surina as your tour guide. Help local tour guides and tip what you can from the heart.
We participated in a Chao Phraya River longtail boat tour. By chance, we were the only ones on the tour, so our English-speaking tour guide, Jackie, used a Japanese translation app to give us detailed explanations of Wat Paknam and Wat Arun. She also taught us how to pray and showed us the best photo spots, making it a very fulfilling tour. Jackie was incredibly kind to our child, buying us water during the tour and letting our child experience feeding the fish. The longtail boat journey offered a glimpse into riverside life in Bangkok, and we even saw several monitor lizards, which thrilled our child.
fantastic experience. our guide was also very helpful in explaining the history and to also help us take photographs. even though the tour overran by almost two hours, we were very grateful with the time spent
The Bangkok long tail boat tour is an unforgettable experience that offers a unique perspective of the city., you get a glimpse of traditional Thai life, with stilted homes, vibrant markets, and lining the waterways. The boats are colorful and the knowledgeable guides provide fascinating insights into the local culture and history. The pace is leisurely, making it a perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Overall, the long tail tour is a must-do for anyone looking to experience the charm and beauty of Bangkok from a different angle. Highly recommended!
It was wonderful journey, was very interesting to observe how the locals live on the river side. Also the temples are beautiful and we got really nice photos! And we also got the blessing from the monk in the Wat Arun temple. And thanks to our lovely guide Nok, she was very cheerful and it was nice to spend those hours with her 🙏🏼
I would still vote for 5 Stars as i promised but to be honest it’s not that worth at this price. Since i can just paid 5thb for visiting Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan by myself and dont need to paid(200thb)for ticket to go inside if you didn’t dress up for shooting(peoples were standing every corner)just take photo outside is enough
5 stars is for tripguru gd customer service, v responsive, agreeable to date change when weather is bad. overall cruise on the canal is nice, wat paknam is disappointing, can't see big buddha. wat arun overrun by insta-crazy photo takers n can easily go on your own. best experience for wat arun is fr tha tien pier n restaurant across the river
Our longtail boat tour through Bangkok's canals yesterday was an absolute highlight, despite the 98-degree heat! ☀️🚤 The heat was intense, but the many impressions made up for everything – from life along the waterways to the impressive Big Buddha and the beautiful Wat Arun. 🛕✨ Our guide's many interesting stories were also particularly wonderful, making the tour even more vivid. We were truly thrilled and would do it again anytime!
Our guide, Pop, did a really good job being our guide. He was really friendly, and did his very best to make sure our tour worked out despite very heavy rains at the time it was supposed to start. We enjoyed getting to see Bangkok from the river, and getting to see the giant Buddha and a little of the temple near him. I wish we would have been able to see more of the temple near to him. Other than that, we really appreciated Pop's flexibility and accommodating us.
The TripGuru guide is very efficient, friendly, informative, patient n responsive! We had an enjoyable n pleasant experience during the tour. Shall definitely book future tours with Klook. Thank you!
