What to expect
Discover the story of Chiang Mai’s mountain coffee at Ban Pang-Hai, a highland community known for quality Arabica coffee.
Begin with a welcome drink and an introduction to local coffee culture.
Observe each step of the coffee process, from harvesting ripe cherries to pulping, washing, sun-drying, hulling, and roasting. Learn how each stage affects flavor and quality as local farmers explain their methods. Watch green beans transform during roasting and understand different roast levels.
The experience ends with coffee tasting, letting you enjoy the journey from cherry to cup. This activity focuses on observation and learning, requires no physical effort, and is suitable for all coffee lovers.
Please note: Lunch is not included in this experience. Harvest season in November–February.

Absolutely great experience. Our driver Mr. Happy is very experienced and careful. After arriving at the plantation we tasted coffee and sweets. We learned about the types of coffee, growing, and roasting. It is also possible to stay here and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Our guide "Little" is a steady driver, with good knowledge of coffee. In this tour, we taste coffees, we learn the process from plants to cup. And have a chance to roast green bean to be my aromatic souvenir. Definitely it's a remarkable experience for a coffee lover!
