We had an excellent day at Tianluokeng. Our driver Xiao Hu was on time and friendly. He shared a lot of information re the area and answered our many questions. The EV ride was smooth and comfortable.

Reasonable price with the ticket for the tulou scenic area included. Pick-up was on schedule, the vehicle was comfortable. However, the tour ended much earlier than advertised, we departed from Xiamen at 7:30am, and were back at our hotel at 2pm. Our driver/guide rushed us through the attractions, we had to ask for extra time at each location. At the end, he tried to drag us into an extremely expensive restaurant, which we declined, so we had to wander around the outskirts of the town for 30 minutes while he charged the car. This method of aggressive sales was extremely off-putting for us.
