Yabiji is the name of Japan's largest table coral community, located 15 km north of Miyakojima, Okinawa.
It is located northeast of Ikema Island, which is connected to the main island of Miyako Island by a bridge, and the coral community boasts a vast area of approximately 17 km from north to south and 6.5 km from east to west.
It consists of about 100 coral groups, including eight large coral groups called Wangbishi / Daebishi and small coral groups called Jokubishi.
You can see this vast coral community and the colorful fish that inhabit it, so it is also called "Japan's Great Barrier Reef."

What to expect

This is a boat snorkeling activity, but it takes place in relatively shallow waters (approximately 1.5~2m), so even beginners can participate with confidence! The instructor will guide you in a friendly manner. Anyone in good health between the ages of 6 and 65 can participate!
