Detailed Itinerary
Manchester ‣ Conwy ‣ Snowdonia National Park: Betws-y-Coed ‣ Chester ‣ Manchester
Your North Wales exploration begins at 08:30 AM from downtown Manchester. First, we will travel to the picturesque Conwy, where you will visit the magnificent Conwy Castle and its ancient city walls.
[Conwy Castle] — Conwy Castle is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized as one of the most outstanding examples of military architecture in Europe from the 13th to 14th centuries. The castle is situated at an important crossing point on the River Conwy and has a rectangular structure with eight towers and two bastions, divided into an inner and outer castle, with a path leading to the River Conwy, which in the past allowed for a constant supply of materials to be brought into the city. ※The scenic area is closed on December 24, 25, 26 and January 1. If the itinerary coincides with a non-open date, it will be changed to an external visit.
Afterward, head to Betws-y-Coed, the gateway town to Snowdonia National Park, and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature.
[Chester] — The history of Chester dates back to 70 AD when the Roman army, ruling Britain, chose Chester, surrounded by rivers, as a stronghold to defend against attacks by the Welsh Celtic tribes, establishing a military fortress and city walls, which also became the westernmost defense line of ancient Rome in Britain. Chester still retains the most complete ancient Roman city walls in the UK, built in 120 AD, nearly two miles long, and is one of the most representative buildings of the Middle Ages.
In the evening, around 18:30, return to Manchester, ending this rich and wonderful day trip to North Wales.
※You can fill in your pick-up and drop-off locations in Manchester in the additional information field. We provide pick-up and drop-off services within about 10 kilometers of downtown Manchester.
