great trial experience! i used to box and wanted to get back into training, and this is exactly what I needed. The gym is well organized, and the entire staff is professional and friendly. The Muaythai area is on the rooftop (no AC), but there are several fans. Just make sure to bring enough water. Coaches are attentive and adapt well to different siill levels, while still pushing to improve. Highly recommended!
First time stepping into Muay Thai and it was such an amazing experience! Grateful a great trainer who guided me every step of the way. I learned a lot and truly enjoyed every moment! Khob khun ka!
new facility, love the instructors. attention to detail and funny! will come again
One of the best unique experiences and moments I had in Bangkok trip. iMuaythai is located in Japanese town in Bangkok. You will see many Japanese restaurants, cafe and even Japanese super market nearby. So you could walk around after class. I attended 1 and half hour group session. There were around 4 trainees and 5 trainers that actually felt like a personal lesson. What makes this Muaythai class special is all the instructors are very kind and fun. And they will guide you depend on your level. I have no experiences at all so one of the instructors gave me the beginner lesson from the basic steps and punchs and I rejoined the group excersies. They have a clean shower room including shampoo and body shampoo that you could use after classes. I wish I could rejoin this class again when I come back to Bangkok.
amazing experience…as someone who has not trained Muay Thai in any way before; I felt so supported and looked after by the team there. Shoutout to coach Orm for taking me through the rounds and movements in kicks especially. Will be back next time in BKK for sure!
It was so, so much fun! First of all, it was great having a Korean coach. The workout proceeded in the order of warm-up, technique, sandbag, mitts, and free practice, with 2-minute breaks in between. It was incredibly hot on the rooftop, but the coaches and students were all super passionate (melting? No? The coach's playful energy was maxed out!). Thanks to them, I really got to experience the charm of Muay Thai in its homeland! Next time, I'd love to try it for a bit longer. Khop khun kha! 🙏🙏 As a tip, definitely bring water (preferably a large bottle of ice water...). If you have hand wraps, bring them; otherwise, you'll need to buy them on the 6th floor (350 baht).
Experience: It's perfectly fine for a woman to try Muay Thai for the first time on her own. Safety: The environment is excellent, and lockers are provided to secure your belongings. Facilities: Clean, and towels are also provided. Coach: Speaks good English and is friendly.
The instructor was great. It was my first time trying Muay Thai and my limbs were very uncoordinated. He even practiced with me one-on-one for half an hour. You need to buy bandages downstairs to wrap your hands, which cost 350 Thai Baht. You must wrap your hands to wear the gloves, so you need to factor in the cost of buying the bandages.
new facility, love the instructors. attention to detail and funny!
Two women, both new to Muay Thai, went to this place. They provided separate instruction for beginners, teaching us from the basics, so we had no trouble following along. 👍 Everyone was kind and enthusiastic, making the learning experience enjoyable. It's a huge plus for Koreans who aren't fluent in English, as there's a Korean coach available.
