we were really amazed at how huge the aquarium is! they have orcas, dolphins, penguins, deep sea fishes etc. its very easy to spend the whole day here. there is also a food court within the compound with different yummy options. the aquarium is really worth a visit if ever you are visiting Nagoya.
I went with my mom and it was so much fun! We watched the 2:30 PM dolphin show, but there wasn't much happening during the actual show. However, after the show, they practiced for about 10-15 minutes, and that's when the dolphins did more jumps and there was a lot more to see! If you catch the killer whale public practice, you can even see the underside of the killer whales from below. Just be careful of killer whale poop attacks! The sardine show is still vivid in my mind. Unlike typical times, there was special lighting and music, and it was absolutely beautiful! The penguins were also adorable, and it was so lovely and enjoyable to see marine life up close that I'd only ever seen on TV!
Easy booking on Klook, upon reaching just scan the qr code. The aquarium is huge, it’s really well maintained and really fun. Facilities are well maintained and decently price ticket. Highly recommended
This is a wonderful place. The aquarium has a good flow, and the north and south halls have distinct characteristics. In addition to common dolphins, there are also orcas and beluga whales, which are very cute ♥️. The arranged performances are wonderful, and the outdoor tanks have excellent views. Even if you sit on the more biased sides, there are cameras that instantly shoot and play on the big screen, so you can see clearly. However, the orca performance is in the tank behind the dolphins, and you cannot see it from the audience seats, only through the big screen. If you don't dislike animals, this place is worth visiting for both adults and children. The inside is exciting, and the outside is great for taking pictures. Booking tickets with Klook is very convenient. The price is not more favorable, but you can enter immediately by scanning the QR code.
Booking Nagoya Port Aquarium tickets with Klook is incredibly convenient. You can directly scan the QR code for quick entry, completely avoiding long lines at the entrance! The orcas (killer whales) and beluga whales in the aquarium are definitely the main attractions. Watching their huge figures swim in the water is very healing. In addition, the dolphin show in Japan's largest outdoor pool and the spectacular sardine tornado light and sound performance are visually stunning. The overall flow is well-planned, and you can observe penguins and sea turtles up close in the South Building. It is highly recommended for both family trips and couples' dates. It's a high-value destination where you can spend the whole day.
I am so glad I bought my Port of Nagoya Aquarium tickets in advance on Klook! I visited on a weekend, and the crowds were huge with massive queues at the on-site ticket windows. Because I had my Klook booking ready, we were able to enter immediately without queuing. It saved us so much time and stress. If you’re planning a weekend visit, booking through Klook is a total lifesaver—highly recommended!
The private is actually the same if you buy it in person but the line was really long when we got there so it was definitely a good choice to buy it off Klook. The aquarium was so cute they had an orca, belugas and a dolphin show. Should take around 2-3 hrs to see everything and they had restaurants nearby where you could eat. Great place to visit if you have children. When we visited I think it was. japanese holiday and there were a lot of people but never as many as the people in Tokyo or Osaka. I’d still recommend this as the view at the port was also amazing. There’s also a nearby theme park that you can visit
It was seriously, seriously, seriously, seriously amazing. Honestly, if I wasn't hungry, I would have stayed all day. I went in as soon as it opened and was looking around the Whale Exhibit until after 3 PM. But seriously, don't get tired! There is so much to see. I saw orcas, dolphins, and belugas to my heart's content in the Whale Exhibit, and it was thrilling to see them from above and below. The sardine tornado show, jellyfish zone, deep-sea fish, and penguins were all so satisfying to see. For me, it was nearly perfect!!!! The price is also reasonable, and honestly, I don't think there's any reason not to go. Manage your energy well, grab a bite to eat in the middle, and then continue looking around~~~~
