What to expect

Yanagawa flourished as a castle town in the Edo period, over 400 years ago. As part of the castle town’s construction, moats were built throughout the area, and these moats are now the setting for river cruises. Enjoy the seasonal scenery along the course, including cherry blossoms, irises, and autumn leaves, while being gently rocked in a donko boat. When you board the boat, you will be greeted by the beautiful waterside scenery.
