Get up early and fill up on a hearty breakfast because it’s going to be an exciting day! Transfer vehicles will pick you up and get you up the foothills of Mount Batur to the starting point, with spectacular views of Mt. Batur volcano. The guide will brief you on safety and help you set up your bicycles. After that, the adventure begins with 26 km of cycling through lush scenery on roads with light vehicle traffic. Pedal past Hindu temples, idyllic villages, and terraced rice paddies. Stop by fresh local markets for snacks and make your way through bamboo forests as you reach Taro, the home of Elephant Safari Park. Feast on a buffet lunch to recharge your batteries and then explore the park. Interact and play with the gentle elephants at the park and learn more about them at the Elephant Talent Show! Don’t miss out on the baby elephants at the park and make sure to feed these gentle giants.

My partner Mark suggested the mountain biking and I was concerned because I haven't ridden a bike in years and we were taking a 9 year old daughter along too. It ended up being one of the highlights of our time in Bali. The biking takes you off road, though villages, forests, rice paddys, farms and a balienese family home, things you don't get to see if in a car. The bike ride was heaps of fun and not too difficult. The a Elephant Park is wonderful, riding on the elephant is a great experience and the park is beautiful and the animals well looked after. Would highly recommend this tour to families or any one :-)
We had a group 15,8 adults 7 kids, and the tour coped beautifully from the bus pick up to checking in to riding the bikes. Really well run. The bike ride is mostly down hill thru mandarin orchards rice paddies traditional villages and homes. All brought together well by the guides insightful dialogue. Lunch at the elephant park was a buffet and tasty.
