It was convenient that I could purchase a ticket on the day itself online. The exhibition itself was interesting and it was nice to see the many models upclose.
Educational and astonishing works by Fujimoto - a true legend. A fantastic look into his creations, with the bonus of a spectacular view of Tokyo.
I must say that I went hoping to see something else, it was a misunderstanding on my part, there's no permanent exhibitions. So I still took the time to learn about Sou Fujimoto and his vision of architecture and design. I was interesting, but as architecture is not one of my passions, had I not made my mistake, I would have not gone to this expo.
The exhibition is very comprehensive, covering Sou Fujimoto's design philosophy, architectural models from various periods, and finally, the planning and imagination of future cities, and how people can coexist and thrive with the urban environment. The scene of the large roof is simulated on-site, and there is even a small theater with architectural plush toys.
Interesting works, including an installation dedicated to the ring from Expo 2025. Everything is duplicated in English. There's an excellent observation deck!
It was wonderful!! There was a lot to see, and time flew by! Being on a high floor, the beautiful views along the way were also great. I'm going to the Osaka Expo next time, so I'm looking forward to matching the knowledge I gained today with the actual Grand Roof Ring and enjoying it!
Great exposition. Worth every time and money expent. I was a little bit crowded but very organized and very entretained.
Experience: It takes about 2 hours to see all the architectural models. If you want a detailed view, you should spend at least 3 hours to see everything. Worth visiting.
