Reviews summaryOur guide picked us up right on time! It always feels a bit strange to have a Japanese-speaking guide since I usually have English-speaking ones. And today, I was the only one on the tour (*☻-☻*) The roads were clear, and we even stopped at a shop where I could try civet coffee. It was my first time trying civet coffee 🐈 and wow, it was strong! Afterward, we went to Uluwatu Temple. Even though it was a weekday, the parking lot was full and crowded. I was told absolutely not to wear sunglasses because the monkeys would steal them, so I left them in the car. We got to see the sunset, and it was absolutely beautiful. The guide worked hard to explain the temple to me. I was the only one watching the Kecak dance, but it was very close and powerful. However, waiting in the open-air venue at that time of day, the sunset was so hot that I was exhausted. Some people were still entering even after the scheduled time, and the stair seating was completely packed, probably at 150% capacity. The sunset and fire were incredibly beautiful, and I enjoyed the dance, which even involved the audience at one point. On the way back, there was a huge traffic jam (T ^ T). I was asked if I wanted to stop for dinner or a souvenir shop, and I chose the souvenir shop. The mountain roads in Bali made even me, who usually doesn't get carsick, feel a little nauseous, haha. I wasn't in the mood for food. I'm sorry. The souvenir shop we stopped at had prices more than half off what you'd pay in Ubud, which made me realize those were probably the original prices. It was so cheap I even checked the prices. It was truly so much fun. Thank you so much for looking out for me like a father, asking if I'd forgotten anything, and worrying about the monkeys! I really feel that Indonesian people are incredibly kind, and I didn't see anyone who seemed irritated. They were genuinely helpful when I was in trouble. In fact, the next day, they even personally arranged my transfer to the airport. I was a little worried if they would actually show up, but they arrived and waited even before the meeting time. I'm truly grateful 。゚(゚´Д`゚)゚。 This was a trustworthy guide who I would definitely want to show me around again when I come back to Bali! My gratitude is boundless; I send my biggest thank you ❤︎
Amazing tour and top-tier guiding! If you're visiting Bali, this Klook tour is a must-do. The Kecak dance against the sunset backdrop at Uluwatu Temple is spectacular. Our guide, Dewa, was awesome—super accommodating, knowledgeable, and took great care of us throughout the evening. Smooth transportation and great vibes all around. Thanks, Dewa!
I think the itinerary is fine, but it would be great if you could contact us a little earlier. Otherwise, I'm really not sure if my booking was successful. I believe Melasti Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I've seen in Bali, and I highly recommend visiting it! Uluwatu Temple was a bit boring, to be honest. It was full of monkeys, and I was very worried they would snatch my glasses and hat. I actually saw instances of hats and glasses being stolen along the way, which was quite frightening! The Kecak Fire Dance was very localized and really showcased the local culture, but I must say, if you're not interested in local culture, definitely don't go. Otherwise, you might not be able to immerse yourself and feel completely restless! However, I personally thought it was pretty good, especially the monkeys' performance, which was very enthusiastic!
We had a great experience at Uluwatu Temple and the Kecak Fire Dance. Our guide, Made, was very friendly and helpful. He even lined up for our tickets while we explored the temple, which made everything more convenient for us. He also shared stories about his life and Bali, and he could communicate well in English. The sunset view was beautiful, and the Kecak Dance was a unique experience. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable tour. Highly recommended.
Our Guide/Ketut Karya has been great and fantastic. Ketut is patient and calm even on long ride. Kind and easy to communicate on whatsapp or in-person. Very helpful during the tour. We booked Uluwatu Temple with Kecak Dance tour. Timing is perfect with pickup of 2pm (Ubud) and arriving at 4:30pm. Perfect for afternoon-sunset view at the temple. Kecak dance is really great and fun to watch. We watched the session1 (6pm) with just right amount of sunlight. Witnessing and experiencing Uluwatu is a must when travelling to Bali. Thank you for the experience.
A must do while in Bali. Great sights , breathtaking views and a memorable Kecak Dance performance. Pick & drop were on time , with a good friendly guide , Bian. Tanah Barak & Uluwatu views were mesmerising.
We had an amazing experience with Tawan during our Uluwatu Temple Sunset and Kecak Fire Dance tour! Everything was well-organized, and Tawan made the trip even more enjoyable with his friendliness, professionalism, and great recommendations. The sunset at Uluwatu Temple was absolutely breathtaking, and the Kecak Fire Dance was such a unique and unforgettable cultural experience. Thank you, Tawan, for taking such wonderful photos and making our Bali trip extra special. Highly recommend!
The fire dance was a sight to behold, especially with the sunset behind. We were booked on the first show at 6pm which was better than the 7pm one as it was still bright when the show started. Oka was my guide and driver and he made sure we were well taken care of, including protecting us from the monkeys!
This is a new kind of tour for a first timer in Bali. it's worth to have a private tour specially in a family with small kid, it's not hussle and we can request adjustment of time in every itinerary that we went. Yogi our tour driver is good in English, patient and gentleman. He is responsive and kind. The tourist spots are one of a kind, it's so surreal in personal. It was too hot when we are touring but it was worth it. Cliff, Melasti, Luwak coffee, Jimbaran is 🧡. Uluwatu temple tour is a bit exhausting&hot but the cliff scenery is 🧡
Our guide, Putra, gave a great explanation of the temple area. Even though we entered late into the show area, we managed to secure middle seats. Sadly, there was no sunset during the show, but overall it was a great performance.
