What to expect
- Our Nanjing trip will begin at approximately 8:20 AM. Please be on time and meet at the entrance of the Presidential Palace. As the largest and most well-preserved architectural complex of modern Chinese architecture, the Presidential Palace has witnessed many important historical periods. Stepping into the Presidential Palace, you'll see classical buildings with flying eaves and bracket arches complementing Western-style buildings, showcasing a unique blend of Chinese and Western styles. We will proceed along the central axis, visiting the Grand Hall, the Second Hall, and the President's Office in sequence, experiencing the traces of history up close. We will tour here for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, immersing ourselves in the historical changes.
- After the Presidential Palace tour, we will head to the renowned Zhongshan Scenic Area. The Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, the final resting place of Sun Yat-sen, the great pioneer of the democratic revolution in modern China, is a solemn and respectful architectural complex built on the mountainside. Starting from the memorial archway, passing through the tomb passage and the mausoleum gate, you'll arrive directly at the sacrificial hall, each place containing profound historical significance. Climb the steps and commemorate the great achievements of this historical figure.
- The Music Stage is located on the southeast side of Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Square and features a unique design. The fan-shaped venue and open-air layout, with the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum as its backdrop, and doves flying freely in the square, create a vivid and dynamic picture accompanied by beautiful music.
- As the residence of Chiang Kai-shek and Soong Mei-ling, the Meiling Palace has a magnificent and elegant exterior, with exquisite interior decorations. The precious cultural relics and historical photos displayed in the rooms vividly showcase the life and style of that period.
- Departing from Meiling Palace, stroll along Wutong Avenue, where towering sycamore trees line both sides of the road, blocking out the sun. Sunlight filters through the gaps in the branches and leaves, creating dappled shadows. Taking photos here will capture the artistic atmosphere of every frame.
- The last stop is the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, the joint burial site of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, and his wife, Empress Ma. It is the first of the Ming and Qing imperial tombs in China. The Stone Animal Road on the Sacred Way has withstood hundreds of years of wind and rain, and the stone beasts are of various shapes and lifelike, making people marvel at the exquisite ancient carving techniques. The Sifang City (Square City) records the life of Emperor Taizu of Ming, showing the weight and vicissitudes of history.

Reviews
When you come to Nanjing, you can visit the many attractions of Zhongshan Mausoleum. I am Korean, but the reason I chose the Chinese tour is that the tour includes a comprehensive ticket to Zhongshan Mausoleum, and the guide takes care of everything for foreigners, such as the inconvenient WeChat Pay payment, showing your passport, etc. Of course, if you understand Chinese to some extent, you will be more satisfied because they will also give you a historical explanation.
The tour guide's itinerary explanation was meticulous, and the service was top-notch! 👍
Koreans don't often travel to Nanjing, but it was a city I really wanted to visit. Most Koreans tend to go to places like Shanghai or Chongqing, so it was quite difficult for me to visit the important attractions in Nanjing. Planning was tough, and I didn't even know what there was to see. However, by taking this tour, I was able to easily visit Nanjing's main tourist spots without complicated WeChat reservations or troublesome procedures. WeChat always asks for verification, which is hard for Koreans to do. In particular, I was able to understand the historical sites like the Presidential Palace, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Music Stage, and Meiling Palace thanks to the guide's kind explanations! (I'm so glad I booked this tour because each place has an admission process, and the tourist area is huge, so you need to take a bus to get around. I wouldn't have been able to do it alone.) Although I don't speak much Chinese, the guide made a great effort to communicate with me... 🥰 (They even translated things like whether I needed to use the restroom or when to gather. They also helped me order food, which I'm very grateful for...) For those planning a trip to Nanjing from Korea, I highly recommend visiting all the major attractions through this one-day tour! The itinerary is much more substantial and better than other products. ❤️
We were only in Nanjing for the day and to save us some time and convenience we decided to go on a tour. I am glad we went with this tour because we got to see all the major sites we wanted to see in Nanjing. Our tour guide Ms. Zhang was amazing and it was evident she was passionate about her job. Ms. Zhang made sure we stayed on time, and got to each site safely. Although I only understood at most 50% of her explanations because of my limited knowledge of the Chinese language, l enjoyed the tour. My favorite site was the Ming tombs. Bonus, the charter bus used had very strong air conditioning!
It was a very informative tour! Since the guide was Chinese, there were about 1/3 of the parts that I didn't understand, but I was able to enjoy the tour thanks to the detailed explanations for the most part!! If I had gone on my own, I would have gotten lost, but with the guide, it went smoothly and it was convenient to be able to travel by car!!
