Learn to cook authentic Thai favorites in On Nut, a 2-minute walk from the local market and 10 minutes from BTS On Nut Station. Our menu draws on Thai home cooking and street food. Every class begins hands-on, hand-pressing coconut milk and cream the traditional way. Choose the class that fits your trip. The 2-Hour Express Class is a simple, focused introduction: four Thai favorites including our color-changing Butterfly Pea Magic Tea, a brief market visit, and Mango Sticky Rice to finish. For a deeper experience, the 3-Hour Full Class includes an extended market tour and a five-course menu. Watch and help create a burst of flame while stir-frying Pad Pak Boong Fai Daeng, served with turmeric rice, then finish hand-stretching our Banana Roti, a signature experience found only here.

The instructor, Serena, was very patient and gently guided us through the entire process, making the experience very comfortable and enjoyable! She was also great at taking photos and providing various props, and kept the conversation flowing, so the atmosphere was never dull. [Environment] There are lockers available for personal valuables, and the restrooms are clean and tidy. Both the cooking and dining areas are very clean. I loved that their tableware consisted of ceramic or uniquely styled pieces, not just ordinary ones, which made the plating even more appealing. [Course] We chose the 9:00 AM Sunday class and went without breakfast. This time, it was just my friend and me. The course was structured so we cooked one dish and then ate it, while also learning about and sampling various spices. Overall, there weren't any overly complicated cooking techniques; it was mostly chopping ingredients and then stir-frying or boiling them. Our itinerary for the day included: Green Papaya Salad -> a market visit to buy tofu and chives for Pad Thai -> Pad Thai, Tom Kha Khai -> Banana Pancakes (we made these), Mango Sticky Rice (we only cut the mango). [Taste] Delicious! Especially the Tom Kha Khai, which had a very mellow flavor, and it came with turmeric rice. We were about 80% full by the end. It was a Thai cooking experience with excellent value for money! Highly recommend!
Teacher Serene was incredibly patient. Beyond teaching us to cook, she shared many interesting stories about local Bangkok markets and some local customs. It wasn't just about cooking; we also learned about life here, which was a pleasant surprise. The dishes we chose to make were all very interesting: Tom Yum Goong, Pad Thai, Mango Sticky Rice, and Green Papaya Salad – all must-try dishes when visiting Thailand. The teacher introduced each ingredient individually, explaining its purpose, rather than just giving us a pile of ingredients and letting us figure it out. The food we made ourselves tasted excellent, not like the watered-down versions often served to tourists. After the class, we even received a cute little wallet as a souvenir. The most practical part was that after the course, we were sent a complete and detailed digital menu, with clear instructions for each dish, so we can recreate them when we return home. The overall experience was very comfortable, with a relaxed atmosphere. It didn't feel rushed or like an assembly line. If you're visiting Bangkok and want to experience making Thai food, you should consider this place. The only downside is that it's a bit out of the way, not close to the main tourist areas.
It was my first time for any cooking class, I love pad thai and learning to cook it was a great experience. I had vegetarian priority and teacher took care of that completely. It was fun to join the class and visiting the local market. Very hygienic and safe for all age groups even kids were enjoying in the group. Highly recommended, Thank you!
We really enjoyed the cooking class with Haesu! She was very friendly and approachable, and discussed everything well to us. The location is around On Nut area but we took a motorbike instead since it was faster. The market tour also was fun and the market was nearby the school. We really had a great experience attending the class, and I learned to love Thai cuisine more because of this!
It was a fun experience, suitable for all ages and any cooking experience. The trainer is absolutely lovely, kind and friendly, she made the experience very relaxing and enjoyable. I learned a lot and the food turned out very tasty! Thank you for this wonderful experience! 💖
We had a great time at Mango cooking class. Serene was excellent teacher in giving explanations and entertaining our questions. Nothing is better than the food that you cook by yourself, everything is delicious.
Serene was great! Awesome experience, relaxed vibe, lots of fun and good opportunity to meet some other people. Nearby the station and the visit to the local market was a nice touch. would definitely recommend!!
The best cooking class experience we’ve had. Serene is a great teacher👍 She is likable and explains everything clearly. We enjoyed every moment of the class. The end products were so much more delicious than what we had in most restaurants👍 My personal favorite is the don ka gai soup though. blew my mind!
Definitely a five-star experience and an absolute must-do in Thailand! The location is great, the space is beautifully aesthetic, and our instructor, Chef Serene, was amazing. Getting to eat our own delicious creations at the end was the perfect finish. This was truly one for the books!
A very enjoyable culinary journey.A very, very worthwhile trip to Thailand, you can cook authentic food by yourself in 3 hours, and you can leave a photo of the photo. And our teachers are awesome, always encouraging and interacting with us very well.We recommend that all friends come to play.
