What to expect
In the morning, depart from Tianshui city center and head to Maijishan Grottoes. As one of the four major grottoes in China, Maijishan Grottoes are famous for their exquisite sculptures and murals, and are a treasure of Buddhist art. Here, you can admire the masterpieces of ancient craftsmen up close and feel the accumulation of thousands of years of history.
Afterward, proceed to Fuxi Temple. This ancient temple is dedicated to Fuxi, the cultural ancestor of the Chinese nation, and is an important place for studying ancient Chinese sacrificial culture. The temple's architecture is magnificent, and the carvings are exquisite, which is breathtaking.
Visit Tianshui Ancient City. This ancient city preserves a large number of ancient buildings and historical sites, showcasing the architectural style and lifestyle of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Here, you can stroll through the streets of the ancient city and feel the strong historical atmosphere and unique folk customs.

- 【Pick-up Range】 For the convenience of tourists from other places, our team departs from Tianshui South Railway Station (High-speed Railway) at 9:00 AM to the Maijishan Grottoes. The regular pick-up sequence is as follows: 8:00 AM Hotels near Tianshui Dragon City Square in Qinzhou District (door-to-door pick-up)——8:30 AM Hotels near Tianshui Railway Station in Maiji District (door-to-door pick-up)——9:00 AM Tianshui South Railway Station (door-to-door pick-up). We pick up passengers along the way based on their residence locations. Since the urban area of Tianshui is long and narrow, and the traffic in the urban area is relatively congested in the morning, the entire pick-up process takes about 1 hour, please understand! Maijishan is about 50 kilometers away from Tianshui city, and the direct tourist bus takes about 1 hour.
Time arrangement: The departure time for the group tour is around 8:00 AM, and the trip usually ends around 6:00 PM, taking you back to the hotel or back to the pick-up point. We will inform you of the meeting time again the day before the trip. Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the meeting time.
