TAKE THIS COOKING CLASS. Absolutely wonderful experience. Everyone was so nice and helpful and welcoming, especially the incredible and charming chef, Shama. She started off by offering some coffee before class (which was so nice as I was still jet lagged). We got to make two dishes, Manta and Sarma, and really interact with the whole cooking process. Shama shared so much about the history of the dishes and Turkish culture. She really made the cooking class into a whole experience. And after all your hard work, you get to sit and enjoy the meal which was delicious!! Also, a shout out to another staff member, Zülfi, for being so sweet and helpful! This class is a must if you’re visiting Cappadocia! Great for solo travelers or with groups :) The only thing I’d keep in mind-- there seems to be a glitch with the website departure time. The class start times are actually at 2pm or 4pm, not 11am.
We did a cooking class at the Atillas Cave Hotel. great experience, food was delicious. Chefs were very attentive to our needs, the instructions they gave us were easy to follow, the ingredients super fresh and the warm friendly environment was very welcoming. They even sent us a hotel taxi home. The driver was also a worker at the hotel who stopped to let us take photos at an attractive spot on the route. Definitely worth recommending!
It was a lot of fun. The taxi issue was handled quickly and smoothly. We had a great time cooking in the wonderful kitchen. It became the best memory of our trip!
Very fun and interesing experience throughout. Would definitely recommend!
