Since our hotel was not far from Kyoto Tower, we were able to walk there. That was very convenient. Entry was quick with no long wait. It might take a bit longer around sunset. Once we got to the top, we really enjoyed the view and would definitely come back here anytime. From our perspective - 10 out of 10 points.

Affordable and a very nice view of the city! It gives you an idea of how many things there are to see in Tokyo. Being right in front of the station, it's very convenient when arriving in the city or as the last thing to do before leaving. Honorable mention for the binoculars... FREE!

We encountered heavy rain while touring Kyoto, but it lightened up later in the evening, allowing us to go up Kyoto Tower. It's located just north of Kyoto Station, very easy to find. We bought tickets on Klook and had them scanned directly at the third-floor entrance. Then, we took the elevator up. The telescopes are free to use, and you can see many of Kyoto's attractions, such as Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Yasaka Pagoda, and the Kyoto National Museum, among others. We could even spot our hotel! It was a great experience.

When you exit Kyoto Station through the Central Gate, look for the Nidec Kyoto Tower. Take the elevator to the 11th floor and redeem your ticket in front of the staff. Then, you can enjoy the view of Kyoto city. We went during sunset on a clear day with no clouds. The view was really beautiful.

Booking Kyoto Tower tickets online is simple and convenient; you can enter the tower directly with your QR code. On the day of our visit, it happened to be the Kyoto Fireworks Festival, and we were able to watch various types of fireworks from a distance at the top of Kyoto Tower, which was very satisfying. In addition to enjoying the fireworks, we also admired Kyoto's beautiful night view from the tower.

It was my second time in Kyoto tower and I was still amazed seeing Kyoto from above. They had a telescope for free and you can closely see the streets, buildings and the mountain. Availing from Klook was easy because you can just display the QR code to be scanned before you enter. No need to exchange for the physical ticket. All in all, good place to visit when you are in Kyoto!

I always get fascinated with towers and heights. I had a wonderful time in the observation deck. Although I also have fear of heights but I love the adrenalin it gave. Nice view of Kyoto from up there.
