- The visit to the Cosquer Cave and the gallery will last approximately 2 hours
- Only handbags/rucksacks whose size does not exceed 44 x 20 cm will be allowed in the venue. Cloakroom facilities are available in basement level 1 and you can store your belongings in a coin-operated locker. Items deposited at the left-luggage office must be collected the same day. Valuables are stored under the owners’ responsibility
- All the venue’s areas are accessible to people with reduced mobility. Only the tour of the cave which takes place on board exploratory vehicles, is not accessible to people with reduced mobility who cannot transfer from their wheelchairs
- Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue

The Cosquer cave experience is located on Basement Level 2, in the 'Beneath the Sea' section, and is accessible only by elevator. The tour lasts approximately 35 minutes. Starting from the underwater-themed station, small groups of six set off to explore a faithful replica of the Cosquer Cave, designed to closely mirror the atmosphere of the original. Visitors travel through the 1,750-square-metre space aboard comfortable exploration vehicles. Throughout the journey, an audio guide provides fascinating insights into the lives of Homo sapiens who inhabited the cave around 30,000 years ago. The site features lifelike reproductions of prehistoric engravings, paintings, handprints, rock formations, and geological features, all recreated with scientific precision for public viewing!
